There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps.You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I remember about a year and half ago when Linden sent a panicked blue box that said something to the effect of:
"We are losing assets!!!! Taking down the grid now!!!!" LOL _____________________

LOL lol remember that moment, hdd going up in smoke that they had to pull out right then, hopefully it`s just some network stuff or else they`d have shut down the grid in an instant _____________________

it is. Ah, after re-reading them again, I spotted it titled "SL Inventory Issues at this time"... What sort of blog title is that for stopping logins?? Kind of "There's some Inventory issues at the moment... oh and and erm... pssst we disabled logins too" Next time we can't login, I think we will probably need read to the end of the latest posting on how we can all make snowmen out of blue snow for a clue as to why. Gomez probley becasue if they tried to fix it while people were building/scripting/shopping in sl, it would severly blow up the asset servers, its to hold off stress, whille if you ask me, the asset servers are just that, a bunch of pc units linked together, just do a reboot on all of them, problem solved. |
