Fanboy is a term used to describe any individual who is devoted to a single subject in an emotional or fanatical manner, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession. Oh......that was rhetorical, wasn't it? actually ty brenda, I actually did not know what the term fanboi meant, and figured since someone asked, someone will answer so I appreciate the answer ![]() _____________________

I thought you were male before I knew better. Then again, most people think I'm male at first too. Probably because they aren't dogs and can't tell from my smell that I am clearly female. ![]() I really never thought about it, but, now that you mention it, I would have guessed male, LOL not sure why _____________________

When given a choice between regular Heaven and pie Heaven, choose pie Heaven. It may be a trick, but if it isn't, whoooo boy!*

Over heard at a cupcake festival....
"There are two important examples of physical systems which violate the strong energy condition: Universes (like, it would seem, our own) with a positive cosmological constant, and wormholes. We suggest that a positive cosmological constant can be reconciled with string theory by considering wormholes in string backgrounds. This is argued in two directions: first, we show that brane-worlds with positive cosmological constants give rise to bulk singularities which are best resolved by embedding the brane-world in an AdS/CFT wormhole; and second, for the simplest kind of wormhole in an asymptotically AdS space, we show that the IR stability of the matter needed to keep the wormhole open requires the presence of a brane-world. UV stability conditions then forbid a negative cosmological constant on the brane-world." |

Desmond is a gentleman, in every sense of the word. His posts here are almost always thoughtful and the light of commonsense amid a sea of derailment
![]() And because he's sometimes here on the forums (although mainly lurking *g*), I simply *cannot* go without saying one positive thing about my Daros. In fact, I could say a hundred positive things about him, but I don't want you lot throwing stuff at me. For the past five years he has been the one person in my life that I can count on and lean on, and I quite simply cannot imagine how my life would have been without him to support me and love me, throughout everything. /me shuts up now and slinks off, looking somewhat like this --> ![]() _____________________

My father taught me to always try to come up with three positive angles on *any* situation or proposal. It is part of a formal brainstorming process that he picked up somewhere.
It takes a lot of practice to get the hang of such a thing. Sometimes it's *really* difficult ![]() _____________________

It's Saturday now. Can we post negative thoughts? No Things can never be more positive and upbeat than when Kaimi shows up, I don't think is capable of any negative thoughts. Mo would be a really cool big sister, and I do need to meet up with her and go cause mischief. His forum reputation aside, Phil really is a good guy, his customers get top shelf service and products from him. Any time a discussion here gets my Irish up and I want to go on a rampage, a post from Qie will usually settle me down. He is very smart and thoughtful, and also keeps his great deadpan wit, no matter what. _____________________

Ok few specifc ones from me....
Czari is a great teacher and a pleasure to deal with in any setting. Our chats and interactions have always been supportive and encouraging. Ciaran is just a nutty guy with whom I always seem to end up discussing biz....which is pretty much all the time lol. And a great friend as well...always there with a sympathetic ear and an opinion to share. Phil has encouraged me since the very beginning of my biz life in SL. We have actually only spoken in world a handful of times and only in person in SL maybe twice...but his willingness to stick his neck out and offer his real opinions and his advice is genuine and he has never been anything but helpful and supportive to me. He has also taken care of the numerous customers I have sent his way with the utmost care....I see his stuff all over the place in the apartments I rent and elsewhere and I am happy to know him. Someday I might even put him on my friends list LOL. And to the others here....I am always happy to hear your input and suggestions when they are constructive. For those who carry on this way in the forums...i salute you! ![]() _____________________
