So does this mean tier charges are kicking in?

Yes, land that formerly showed as "0/actual area" now shows as actual area.

Looking at the map I saw at least 3 parcels for sale. Prices were high, but not terrible.

I wonder how much notice there will be before the auctions begin?

This explains why Mainland prices have been dropping all day, I guess. There's a quarter sim of lovely flat green mainland at the top of the list for only L$1.7 a meter.

1.7 is low, but not abnormally low.
- It is the lowest I've seen, but I've seen a lot of 1.7 over the last month or two.

It'll be funny to see how absurdly high Zindra plots get listed for... I just don't think there's enough action in SL right now to support the prices I expect to see people trying for for the next year or so over there.

Yes there's been a lot at that price, but not for flat green in a nice sim with a protected border.

Where so much as farting will soon result in an AR, no doubt.

And where's the for-sale Zindra land? No way to type in a key word in land sales search.

Just map over Zindra while having "Land for sale" checked.

I don't remember the regions. I just scrolled over it with the map.

That plot of land has been sold. Lowest priced land now is L$1.8 per meter but a lot is coming to market and sales are sluggish.

Wouldn't it work to do a land search, Mainland, with PG and Mature unchecked? I don't think there IS any Adult mainland other than on Zindra...

No. Adult mainland was intended to be its own continent to avoid 'camming-over' issues from PG/Mature land. (^_^)y

not hard to find the yellow in zindra now, entire regions for sale (Cheddar). Very nice profit margins for the big boys and girls who got large quantities of land for nothing except tier and now can sell. Weird, I was sure I read in one of the original blogs they would not let you sell for at least 6 months. Oh well, greed is good, profit is good, it makes the world go round you know.

I don't remember seeing that anywhere, and I've been following this pretty closely for the last few months. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Use Search/Land for sale, and check mainland, and adult only. The list in search is more current than the map. The map gets updated in hours or a day, while search shows listings instantly.

Re: "Very nice profit margins for the big boys and girls who got large quantities of land for nothing except tier "

Actually, if you held the Zindra land as group owned up through today, it would have cost nothing in tier till now. There is a grace period on having enough contributed to a group to support the parcel, so you could have had 0 contributed even up to today, and still sell it without every paying anything.

Nope, and I have been following this as close as anyone... They have always said once tier kicks in and auctions happen, you can buy and sell. If someone believes different, give us a reference please.

Must have been hearsay then on the 6 month stipulation. Anyways, bring on the auctions for Zindra. Put a little competition in the mix.
