Great food, wonderful people, Mardi gras and Tabasco sauce, all pluses, but the goofbomb legal code system is a dealbreaker.

It's that prims with scripts (or possibly certain types of scripts) in them tend to drop out of visible range at a distance significantly less than your draw distance. I came across this problem while building. I use a rez-faux box for almost all my builds which tend to be on the large side. I'll frequently find myself so far away from the rez-faux box that it's no longer visible even though the structural prims of my build surrounding it are well within my draw distance and fully visible. If I fly my avatar close enough to my rez-faux box it pops back into view. The distance at which this happens varies between 20 and 50 metres. Don't ask me why... I haven't a clue.
The disappearing casino table phenomenon has a much more mundane explanation.... sorry if that kills off your pet conspiracy theory. nothin kills my pet conspiracy theory,sapphire moon is LL protected,if you think that crap is fair while others have had to shut down then it says alot about you now dont it |

Its all really kind of pointless. Why open a casino if you have to hide it? I've been by the place in question a few times since the ban went into effect. Every time I've been there, the place was empty. Unless they found a way to keep the green dots from appearing on our Mini Maps, this place can't be making money.

I wonder if the games even take money any more. It might really be like it says, just a place that people can look around and remember the good old days. Or maybe they are just waiting for the ban to be over turned, then they will be the only casino for like .03 seconds!

Its still pointless. If the same handful of people show up to throw a pile of money at this place, why keep all the extra land? It makes about as much sense as buying 500 acres of RL land so you and 3 of your best buddies can have a place to play your weekly round of poker. Tier fees are eating them up. One would think that if they were operating an illegal casino they would actually try to downsize and hide the place.
