what would you do if you met a linden in RL?

well, i keep hearing people wanting to complain to them

i'd take them to dinner and pay for it myself, what about you guys?

guess it would depend on which linden

but heck yea go out to dinner discuss what its like bein a linden and then take them to my house so they can see what sl looks like and acts like on a normal every day computer LOL

then get them drunk...take bad staged photos of them after they pass out and then blackmail them for a gabillion $L LOL ok j/k on this last part

If it was Phillip I would ask for a job, at my current pay scale, plus benefits and I want to work from home.

I was dancing at the Shelter once and there was a Linden there. But he was just standing around among other people so I didn't say anything. Also I bumped into a small group of people at the Burning Life desert sims when they were first opened up for last year's event. I asked a question, and realised one of the people was a Linden, but somebody else answered my question.

Probably would walk past them, because I would not recognize a single one of them. Well okay, I would recognize Torley Him I would offer a few drinks I guess, love his video's. The rest of the company are for me like the people working at the cable or electricity company. Would not take those to dinner either

I'd find the nearest policeman and get them arrested for being the dealer of my addiction.

I came really close to meeting one. Took a trip out to LA for New Years, and was going to meet up with one and party. When I got there, we never contacted each other. Ah well...I had fun with my lady and friends anyhow.

She works in the SF LL office. Cool girl.

Been there, done that, a number of times. They're just people.

In all seriousness, I'd more likely buy the poor fellow a beer and chat for a few hours. But I would expect that the time would largely be wasted, since I don't think the average Linden can do much to affect the course set by the high-level ones.

I would have to go outside for that to happen, right? (@_@)

I'd ask for his card and if I can call him during business hours. I never like talking about my work during off times, I'm sure a lot of them don't either.

I would ask the Linden to the Zoo and we would enjoy Hippos and it would be nice and the Linden would feel sleepy and need to rest and I would shave his or her head.

OK - seriously, I don't have a lot to be upset about. It's easy being a bigshot on the internet and I highly doubt people would be as aggressive as they are here in real life. It's a whole lot harder when you have to look another person in the eyes and be a jackass to them.

I'd like to meet a couple of the Lindens and just hang out. They have a very interesting job, so it would be fun to get their perspective. LL sounds like a completely different work experience than what I'm used to. First round is on me. Hey, are they hiring?

Attend the next SLCC, and you, too, can meet a Linden in RL

I think this year its in Tampa, FL - in the Fall.

Actually, I have a friend who is a Linden. Met him inworld before he became a Linden and we became good friends. During a trip to San Francisco last year with my SL partner (who is now RL too but that's another story) we met up with our Linden friend and had a great lunch with him and his wife. My Linden friend then took us on a tour of Linden Labs and it was quite fun. Even put a pic of us all outside Linden Labs in my profile

It is funny, I have been on Sl for 8 months and have only seen 1 Linden and he was dressed as darth vader and "away" .... Otherwise... none.. so what are the chances I meet em in RL?
