It depends on the specific animation and the guy's intention/personality.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

what about the opposite? ;) I have like 30 dances in my Huddles dance HUD. I keep a few "unisex" (like "BANGING" from Sine Wave) and "weloveyou-boy" from Sine Wave so my guy friends can synch up with me and rock out :)

I have male friends dancing on my chim all the time, and some of the dances are feminine, but the guys don't mind. I include some dances that are more masculine too, and try to select dances to go with each song.

What am I supposed to say? Should it be against TOS for guys to dance to female animations? :D :D I've probably danced to male dances without even realising it.

Definitely a slippery slope issue. It can only lead to more deviant behaviour. This is how it all starts, you know.

I think it is a turn off to see guys dancing with female dances and of course looks effeminate and weird to see some 6'8" muscled mass dancing the "Wasabi" or "Center of the Universe" from Sine Wave.

Hmm breakdancing seems safe, hard to get the balance spinning on your head with a butt the size of a kangaroo, and also it is romoured to ruffle ones ears quite badly.
Though there don't seem to be any surv.... I mean talking witnesses to ever seen an Overlord dance in anyway, the last person suggesting they saw me tapping my foot to a polka, was last seen feet in coincrete blowing pretty bubbles :)

I've got some dances that weren't labelled male but just are! I prefer guys using guy ones cause I like my guys to be pretty masculine, but it doesn't really matter either way as long as they're having fin.

Making a Male avatar do a female dance...sounds like sexual harrassment to me.

I only have female dances in my chimera, most from Sine Wave. They are sexier, smoother, less wander-around-the-floor-and-meld-with-other-people and also just generally more varied and available (just like women's clothing!) Then again, I'm a gay man so I don't mind looking a little swishy when I dance. LOL

The "male" dances I've seen just look too dorky to me or like the AV is having some kind of seizure and, for some of them, you need an entire dance floor to yourself since the AV is wandering around, kicking, spinning, etc. and just generally ending up in other people's personal space, no matter where you start your AV dancing.

I supposed if I decided to try another round of clubs that play rock or industrial or goth or something, I'd stick with the club dance ball or load a 2nd chimera with more masculine and/or aggressive dances to suit the music. As it is, I go to a few clubs (mostly gay or lesbian clubs), now and then, that play that dance/techno music and the female dances I have seem to work well with that style of music.

I tend to be largish when human, between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 6 inches (ok, that is shortish to biggish, shoot me), and I have some female dances I'll pull out every once in awhile. As some would note, though, it is not the easiest thing to get me to start dancing, female animation, or not.

I mention the human part because when I'm a tiny, or a kitty I have some tiny animations which are not gender based, and some animal dances (non-tiny), which, I think, are also not gender based. Unisex dance moves. yay
