Actually only a few, I need some more of those :)

And I went and haunted Phil's store, thanks for the idea :)

ps: but I didn't see Phil and I didn't try out the beds (in case anyone wondered)

LOL, glad you mentioned that ;)

As a merchant, I want to encourage impulse buying. :D

With my girl, I can almost automatically say "Nice new outfit!" Only occasionally does she reply that it's an old one. (PS: don't tell her I said that!) I shudder to consider her closet.

On the other hand, the delete key is your friend.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a way to sort invientory by last date used? We'd find a bunch of stuff we no longer use; most of it junk, with a few forgotten treasures interspersed. Might make inventory cleaning more fun!

I have more LBD's than I can count, I'm sure. Black is my favorite color/shade (let's not get into semantics here) and even in RL, my wardrobe is mostly black. I completely dress for myself, and it just seems that if given a choice I tend to gravitate to the black version of nearly everything. You can dress them up much better and I never tire of them.

As for whether or not black is only black - no this isn't true. I worked for many years in the garment industry when younger and there are many tones to black, as there are to other colors. It can have purplish colorations, hints of green, grey, etc. In SL, this doesn't show up as it would in the real world, where our eyes are capable of distinguishing the fine hidden details of the dyes used.

My SL partner actually does notice almost every little detail. If I am wearing a dress he hasn't seen before when he arrives, I'll get "I don't think I've seen that before have I?" prior to his greetings....lol.

Regardless, I dress for me. I've stated previously I'm not a shopper RL or SL and since I like to keep a very tight inventory an outfit has to be AMAZING before I'll purchase it in SL now...or something different (I'm into vintage/historical/victorian, etc. type clothes and especially partial to ballgowns in those eras. I also have a "loose" rule that if I purchase something new, an item that is similar has to go.

Is anyone besides me becoming concerned that our RL LBD's are not as L as they used to be? :(
