omg - LBD...how many?

Back to topic:

I was going through my inventory and organizing, and I was shocked and amazed at how many 'little black dresses' I have. 32 to be exact and that's not counting black gowns
AND, I'm ashamed to admit that I purchased two more yesterday that I couldn't resist...but really, do we need that many? And if it's to dress for the guys, will they even notice that each one is different? Sadly, probably not...I don't think they are that detail minded

Just sayin'....I'm bored

Good morning sweetheart I didn't know about the maintenance either and I logged out. It's a pity we didn't know - 4 hours of having the store to ourselves - with all those luvverly animated beds <slurp>

For question 1: NO
for question 2: you should be wearing the clothes because you want to wear them, not for others to give you recognition/compliments.
In RL people don't always notice things, or telling you how great it looks all the time, especially if you change those clothes every single day. It's not special anymore.. thus more common, like a normal jeans to them. for both males as female this applies.

Admit it: you're a black dress junk/addict. Go seek help by your rl guiding person, who controls you inworld, avatar

bored: go do something useful, like a sleep avatar. You master (rl person) will take the shift while you are sleeping

Do you "dress for the guys"? Or for yourself? If it's for yourself then you see the differences among the dresses, and that's what matters. If it's for the guys - well, I suggest rethinking that attitude, but that's just me. *grin*

I have a growing collection of vests (waistcoats) and ties. I don't seem able to collect enough; every time I think I've finally done it I find another that it just perfect for me, and just a little different from the vast number I already have. For me the vest-and-tie may be the equivalent of other women's little-black-dresses!

I like them, other people like them, content creators get supported ... everyone wins. *grin*

I dress up for me and my partner - if i am not eye candy to her than no one else matters.

Guys never notice the different shades of black, pfffft. I don't count how many of anything I have, I don't kvetch over such things. I see it, I want it, I buy it if I can afford it *and sometimes when I can't

I'm at the stage in my life where I pretty much do things for myself, not really worrying about what others think.

Ashe, I only have maybe 10 LBDs, not including gowns.

I dress for me and I make most of my own clothes (make that all my own clothes). I don't have any little black dresses. I just don't think I look good in black. I prefer orange, yellow, or celadon green or sea green.

*giggle* I don't count my dresses, I just buy what I like!

I only have five or six LBDs, and two of those are really slips. Well, they say they are "slip dresses", but I wouldn't be caught outside the bedroom in one in RL.

I am not in world right now to check, but taking a mental inventory (which will almost certainly miss a few) I think I have 10-12 different vests, some of which come with shirts and/or ties and some which do not. It probably adds up to about 20 different outfits when I consider all the shirt/vest/tie combinations in my inventory that I am likely to wear together.

Anyone who knows me can attest that I pretty much always have either a vest or a tie on, usually both.

Are we grand-re-opened yet? Can I come get that great LBD? lol

haha Saturday I been sick as poo for a few days I was starting to worry if I was going to get done, but I'm all good now, and hit Phil up for a couple couches for the new store lol

My current alt has about 5 lbds. I would guess I have maybe 20 total. I actually do stop and think before I buy a new lbd and if I have a similar style I won't buy. There are so much out there.
