should I fear if I express my opinion about reported bad behavior from LL?

In some ways some of the Lindens can be incredibly childish. I think they're trying to be more professional, especially now they've seen what the media and government types can throw at them (child porn allegations, gambling, etc). With their well-publicized platform stability issues, the souring of the business press on SL, and the subprime home loan driven liquidity issues in the investment community their shot at selling out to a high-priced takeover bid is now officially over [take a look at who their angel investors were when the company was founded to see where this could have gone...]. What this means is their only remaining option is to actually put their nose to the grindstone and pay due dilligence (this is a theory only: they may still opt for the "run it into the ground and pull out huge bonuses" option but there may be conditions from the investment group to block this).

Anyone who's ever worked for a disfunctional small company knows full well what the possibilities are for mischief (under American law the easiest way to kill someone without real consequence of a penalty is to hire them and then have them die in an "accident"...). I think they're less, now, but they'll still land on anyone like a ton of bricks, and there are still small, petty people there.

problem is, most lindens u see inworld, either liasions, tech support or who ever, are there to do dmg control for the actual coders wich we will never see
policy changes etc are done by the office by ppl we won`t see either under normal circumstances(sp)

if u`ve read the town meeting chat history, even if we meet them, better have gotten some sleep...

pissing of the ppl ingame might get some bad feelings, it would be having spike linden come to my island after an performance issue and once he got there say they sucked and are incompitent while just there to help dmg control and fix an issue created by the monkies at the office and he`s a pritty nice guy

oh well.........its LLABS problems its not venting its just plain facts. LLAbs has a long history of using people and throwing them away. But the insult comes when they try force all togther off the game. Many of the early people way before my time and up to my time that gave alot of time to this stupid game to help PR and guide new people. But at the end of out usefulness LLABS just had to start issues for force many of us that did want to continue helping. But LLABs doesnt see it that way, the only thing they care about is their self. I said this once i said this countless times, LLABS if it knows it can use your abilities wil do so. Until they feel your time for mentoring building, linden workers or otherwise is nolonger required. This is not a personal bitch, this is a collection union of pasted users that gone this shit.

SL once was what I'm looking for in a virtual world, and I think still has the ability to be, but the way they are handling verification is becoming the last straw for me. I've been cutting back on my SL time a lot lately. I have friends here and can't totally leave, but I'm just not getting enough out of it to justify much time. I think that's quite possibly the worst criticism anyone could make.

I say this, the day after I went over to Corcyrus and took the automated tour - and it was delightful and worked fine. There's so much in SL to see. I thought I could rekindle my interest in SL by taking on a new project of my own, but I can't seem to care.

I'm starting to play with a very basic 3D website program called gogofrog. It has the virtue of running in Flash, which means a lot of computers and even phones should be able to access it, but it's currently buggy. It is quite user friendly however and I hope it does well.

i have been hearing of prokofy for year ive been in sl. and after ready quite a few of her blogs i can see how ll would be very annoyed and agitated with her- shes pretty good at what she does. but ive never really known what the history of that ban blood was all about. this isnt a good place to discuss it, sc is an even worse place to discuss it, so we will likely never know.

Without me doing anything at all to provoke a response from any of the Lindens, other than the minor matter of me initiating an attack, Jeska Linden's Facebook zombie "laid some Zombie smack-down on [me]". Wagner James Au, ex Hamlet Linden, also trounced my facebook zombie. Inworld penalties aren't sufficient for the vengeage loving Linden staff. Linden meanies go after your facebook zombies.

Is there no justice in the world? No peaceful haven where you just sit and peacefully attack other people's facebook zombies in full confidence that they won't mount even token opposition?

Oh noes... this would involve searching the archive. And, the only way to search the archive is to use the search link located between the words New Post and Quick Links up there in the menu bar. Yes, that information is all buried away and hidden specifically so Linden Lab can keep certain residents, those who endlessly broke forum posting rules (the evidence was planted, of course), from bringing all of us the secret to WHATEVER though it mainly involved axe grinding and/or foil hats coming loose and unattached.
