From: Ephraim Kappler I think you have two quite different expressions mixed here. Threatening to give someone "a piece of your mind" means that you might "tell them off" or scold them. Whereas your "peace of mind" describes the state of being untroubled or undisturbed by your thoughts. No I did not have the two expressions confused nor was I unclear as to their meaning. I was merely trying to guess why anyone would spell the phrase like: "say my peace." It's confused me in the past. If that spelling were correct, then the derivation relating to peace of mind was the only one I could guess. Perhaps the person (who had it wrong, or, the derivation, if it turned out to be *right*) was basically saying they were trying to speak until they felt at ease having unburdened themselves. No one seemed to have a definitive answer on this and you didn't actually answer my question. But thanks anyway. I agree with Argent's assessment although it seems more opinion than fact: From: Argent Stonecutter "Say my peice" is just a straightforward variation of "take my turn". Although I hope he was not implying I am the 'confused birdbrain.' Sheesh it's more a light hearted attempt at conversation on the topic. I'm not stupid nor am I confused. Merely curious what others think.

From: Rene Erlanger Do you believe in Freedom of speech? In being allowed to express an opinion? No I really don't support your right to say you want to shoot Lindens.

From: Argent Stonecutter Damn you Ephraim, you neanderthal reprobate! I was going to ask "Where? Where?" And see if anyone other than Pep caught on. I didn't bother to comment because it was fairly obvious that the OP's thinking processes were defective. Pep (Contrary to public opinion, I do not think there is any point in criticising those who obviously could not have done better if they had tried.)

My opinion of the Lindens is still very good, even after everything Second Life has been through. It's the individual policies and process that need fixing. I'd love to see a policy change or posting to the Linden blog that earnestly felt like a personal dialog, instead of a press release.
