From: Count Burks Sion chickens, many residents seem to be getting involved in them. Nothing wrong with that if it weren't that these chickens create massive amounts of lag because of collisions. A few chickens lag out an entire sim without much trouble. People are getting evicted without much notice from their land because of the fact they have a chicken farm on their island or land.
Is there or are there residents who have found creative solutions which allows them to breed their chickens and spawn their eggs in a way they don't create massive lag?
Any creative feedback on this would be appreciated. I'm aware these chickens are becoming popular and are a form of entertainment to many, yet the creator seems not able to create a system that doesn't suck up all the resources of a sim. The new chickens (v11, I believe) are far better at lag avoidance than the earlier versions. Where I live, there are several chicken farms in operation, for a grand total of about a hundred chickens on the sim, with no significant lag. That said: If you rent, or you live in an estate, it is always a good idea to inform your landlord of your intent to raise chickens and get permission - and keep the chat transcript on file.

From: Deira Llanfair I don't think we'll need to go that far. Once the foxes have got the chicken population under control, we can introduce fox hunting in season. Two or three packs of fox hounds should do be enough - and think what fun we could have galloping all over the grid. but *I* would join in if it got to nukes... I really wanted one... ok I really only want to decorate it with christmas tree lights and and use it to scare the neighbors =)

From: Tegg Bode When is someone going to greate breeding roaches and rats ? I found my rat the other day still wandering under the foundation tunnels of my shopping centre I think that is a business opportunity. A natural development. First sell breeding roaches and roach food. Then when your roaches get out of hand, buy a rat that hunts and eats the roaches.....

You know, like the Royal Horse Artillery. That should scare the neighbours.
