I'm not 1 of those 2 care much about my avatar or go "shopping" but i did go shopping yesterday and 1 of the boots was missing a texture, i IM'd the creator and he immediatly came and corrected the problem

Try lowering your Draw Distance WAY down. Like to 64 for starters, just to see what happens. For me, this is the single biggest lag creator on my computer. Turn details on ground, tree, and sky to the lowest, while keeping avatars, objects, and flexi objects high. This sort of tweaking helps my computer run more efficiently, while I can still see the stuff that I really care about. I only raise my Draw Distance if I am going to be exploring around, and in that case I might raise the other sliders as well and just deal with the lag. Okay, I'll try that later. Doing Christmas shopping today. If it works I'll let you know my results, and I would love to see a thread on how to reduce lag. We all got it, we all hate it, we all gotta deal with it. A lag reduction thread would be great! |

how to make socks?? I think there are tutorials out there for that  for slacks on the pants layer, shorten them to wear with boots and they won't show thru. pants on the underpants layer tuck in naturally.
