When you are still griefing someone 5 years later (like registering my avatar name as a .com, logging into SC2 with over 30 variations of my name, etc) time means nothing. Offline time is the best time to attack as you have been off everyone's radar.

Compared to registering my domain name for future who knows what, doing a lil wordpress for poops & giggles is a breeze, especially considering how she worked over my wikia entry, and then posted that long story about my causing the death of a one of her personal family friends. o.O.

I'm just pointing out the only person i know that goes to such lengths that has ever posted inflammatory about child-avs.

THE thing y'all seem to be missing here (and its a biggie IMO) ...

Yes, I missed that one - I was too busy chuckling over the phrase "nasty things that are xxx".

Yeah... The typos should be revealing. I can't say I'm going to care enough to find out. I just reported it and I'll let Wordpress do what's best for them. (=_=)

But... Those typos have a pattern that can probably be matched to a forum poster or other blogger. Then again, it could just lead to yet another witch hunt of people with bad typing. (>_<

People that go to those lengths are usually trying really hard to keep the spotlight off of them for some reason.

And definitely don't trust clues you find in it.

Some people leave them on purpose.

This was probably done by an experienced griefer...Definitely someone who gets off writing full blown lies and slandering for the sake of slandering.

Truth always takes a back seat to sensationalism and name calling....just as it does in RL, it does in SL.

I can believe that someone would say that. There are, after all, a couple people out there that have into their heads that merely having a kid avvie means you are doing sick stuff with it. the names on the list are very telling of when the blog was made and a short list of people who could have made it.

On a certain other forum one such person is going on at length that all who opt to wear a child avatar for only the slightest of moments are pedophiles. So... ya.

Which, yes, I have never and will never use my avvie for sexual activities of any sort. Aside from finding the idea of kid sex - including the virtual re-creation of such - distasteful, I also don't really "get" pixel play no matter what form one is in.

I would have liked to have seen the full page before it was nuked, if only to try to trace it back.

Well, someone has to be identifiable to be libeled (at least in the UK -- I am really not sure how it works in the USA). While it's not my area at all, my analysis, for what it's worth, it that the individual account holders are certainly identifiable to Linden Lab and, since the accusation is one that, if believed by the people in a position to identify the account holders, would have caused them real damage -- like having their accounts banned.

Consult someone with the relevant expertise in the relevant jurisdiction, obviously, but my immediate reaction is that it's actionable if you can prove who the author was.
