What is your greatest global grid apocalypse fear?

Primbegottegedon - The last prim has been tortured to spawn the last design that can be created with SL's tools. Within the hour, the design is stolen, reproduced, and sold in resell vendors and on every street corner in SL, along with everything else that can be created in SL. Everyone now has everything, and after a brief celebration, everyone realizes that without shopping, there is little left to do. Sadly, everyone shuffles back to their homes, close the windows and doors, and wait for the "GAME OVER" message that never comes.

Zombiegeddon II - the zombies rise (again - thanks Argent - you beat me to it again!), I'm in a mall, and I DON'T HAVE A SHOTGUN!!!

Er, in SL.

Hackageddon - a bit like griefergeddon except that someone might manage to hack directly into the LL system and wreck it.

Legalgeddon - governments introduce new internet laws that make it difficult for virtual worlds like SL to continue.

...animal roleplay starts to take on a more realistic, serious edge. Gone are the days of out of character typing, IM's and so forth... all of it replaced with an edgy, addictive predator~meets~prey thrill. Anyone logging into the grid after that, is fair game...

...Leather, latex and so forth becomes real world mainstream fashion in 2010, followed by a new Hello Kitty line, until finally Sears picks it up in 2013. By 2014 there is hardly a person not on one end or the other of a thin black leash, and the main grid loses all of its sexual fantasy elements, vanishing into a black hole of cultural irrelevancy.

Opensourceageddon:
...as a joke, someone creates a 100% offline client that merely shows you all the places already in your SL cache. Plus avatar friends from your cache that simply come and go saying "hi" or "yeah," randomly activating various poseballs or animations. Due to the smoothness, everyone adopts this "client" and never realises what happened.

Paranoiageddon:
...for whatever reason, a large number of people pick up on popular conspiracy theory memes blogged about the main grid, and strive to make them come true. Soon, secret cabals of this and that shadowy group meet to discuss their plans. In two weeks, everyone realises that nobody actually cares, and everyone logs out to play Eve Online, where conspiracies actually matter.

Cashoutageddon: Actually, this one could be real. So many people decide to cash-out of SL that the sellers:buyers in the exchange goes 100:1 and the L$ becomes so insanely devalued that it would take practically an infinite amount of L$ to equal $1. (>_<

Plus a cute little demon in sneakers and/or platypus in aviator goggles? Or did you mean BDSM-geddon?

Gameageddon: A maintenance Linden accidentally throws a switch in the server farm that turns on a formerly never-seen-before gameplay HUD, everyone finds out what level they've been accumulating since they started, all sims become damage enabled, and default melee and projectile weapons replace avatar hands grid-wide. SL WAS A GAME AFTER ALL!!! (O.o)
