Withdrawing from SL is easy.

I agree, take a plywood cube with you for a "Linus Blanket". Maybe print off some of your favourite pictures and keep them in your wallet so you can show off your "family" at the craps tables -- that'll clear them out, for sure.

My RL had a week out of SL on holiday and had no withdrawal symptoms, possibly because there was so much to do on holiday.

As for me I just took myself off to a quiet beach sim and lounged about drinking cool drinks without anyone hooking me up to a computer and giving me things to do!
