I've visited VKC: nice scripting, ridicoulus looking (they are alines not dogs), more than ridicolous price (i found a ugly one @6000 L$), and no copy! Oh god.. i'm gonna loose a 6k pet? I've visited Pennys': dunno about scripts (i believe the basic pets command: follow.. etc.), ridicolous looking (maybe worst than VKC), lower price than VKC but still too high for that quality (about 2k). I've visited Zoobies: ahhhh finally somethig thay you may call dog (or cats.. or whatever). Sculpted, basic scripts (follow, attack, follow a route), still high in price imho but lower than others (1300). There's no doubt.. Zoobies (actually) is the best... and by VERY far. I agree, as far as looks go, Zoobies are the most realistic looking ones. When I was referring to the dogs though, I was thinking more about the functions they do. Granted, Fluffy is a monet.. cute from far away, but a big ol' mess up close.. but he is cool to have around. What he lacks in esthetics, I feel he makes up for in functions. And yes, the cat is pretty silly looking from Paradise, but its experimental, not the final version, so I'm hopeful with that one The purring and meowing does get a bit much, but for a couple hundred lindens, he's pretty cool too. It was only a few hundred lindens when I picked him up, and thought it was worth trying out since the price was really low in comparison to what it did. Did the price go up?I do love my Zoobie kitty though, looks just like a kitty... now if there was a Zoobie looking VKC scripted pet at Paradise prices....that would be awesome Ooooo.. and I have to go see the dragon eggs now.. I didn't see those there. What a great addition to the menagerie I have going at my place! |

My neighbour at Crameri has a very larger lobster called Thermidor and a giant squid - so I need the Orca to keep them at bay ![]() Do you have Polar Bears, Maelstrom? I think they are fun too. _____________________

That's Avaria ![]() mornin' Claire Grendel's Children, to be precise. The eggs are only $L30. Go to the land below Grendel's skybox to find a hatching site. _____________________

Mountain critters?
11-28-2007 09:49
I would like some mountain wild animals ... bighorn sheep, or mountain goats, or mountain lions even. Anyone seen any good scripted ones? Theres a mountain goat on SLX, but no way to see it before you buy.
And fwiw, i rescripted my baby tiger to be MUCH less obnoxious, and move around when I'm gone instead of just standing looking stupid. It's nice to buy pets who are mod! _____________________

Hey, let's not be recommending that Folsom get anything that's going to mess on his landlord's wood floors.

I agree that Zoobies has the best sculptie animals. I have a doberman from there, and a pettable cat which I carry around sometimes. Also have a horse from Mcleans, and I love it. I think it's pretty realistic, with breathing and hoofbeats.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a place to purchase a realistic house pet. I have seen some very nice looking dobermans (that even respond to some simple commands). Anyone know of some other pets that are a bit more realistic or interesting than the basic oval and circle animals? (Originally I was looking for a dog, wolf or big cat, but decided not to limit myself). Thanks! I have a beautiful pet named Kitten...she's not for sale tho ![]() _____________________

I've seen turtles that you have to raise and feed and look after or they die, bit more work than other pets though

Hey, let's not be recommending that Folsom get anything that's going to mess on his landlord's wood floors. /me waves to Folsom! Lol. Please, Avion, if the floors can survive everything I've done on them, they can survive a pet! Although, thinking about that beautiful back patio and water, maybe I should just get a seagull or heron or something that can fly around the back of the house. As long as it gets along with the shark. I assumed that the birds that fly in patterns are two-dimensional, anyone know if I'm wrong about that? _____________________

4 pages and not even a passing mention of my critters
I guess it's time to leave SL entirely or do something else._____________________

I assumed that the birds that fly in patterns are two-dimensional, anyone know if I'm wrong about that? There was a birdbath that rezzed a bird which would fly the perimeter of your land and return, in the shop at Svarga some while back when I visited. _____________________
