I'll be honest with you... the whole thing I was trying to say at the beginning of the thread was that it appears to me that prim genitalia are mostly rather crap, that most sex animations I've had the misfortune to see have been mostly crap and that I feel the human mind, with all its intricacies and delights, can conjure up a myriad of exciting and stimulating images for people wishing to engage in pixel sex.... images which I feel do a far better job than the crap text written into prim genitalia and other sex toys. If there were awards for poor sex writing, the designers of most SL 'talking' sex objects would form an enormous mountain on the plinth.

So yes, I invented the 'Imagination' line of products.... sorry. And no, I have no experience of Realism products or Dark Delights. My sincere apologies for misleading most of the people reading the forum. I'll tuck my irony back into my trousers and take it home.

I have a xcite penis and my issue with it is it tries TOO hard to be real. My partner has to keep playing with it to keep it erect (which button clicking during pixel & phone sex at the same time is just added complexity, distraction) plus the whole once you ejectulate it takes a bit to get erect again. I have them A for effort and 'realism' but like all online games when it comes to 'realism' theres a fine line between 'cool' and disruptive/annoying.

I'm with Dud on this one. I spent quite a lot on one of XCite's competitors. It works fine, but I never used it more than a few times. Chat with one's partner is much more flexible and exciting than listening to some program tell me how I am feeling.

No, not in the slightest. But I wasn't proposing either or..... nor anything near that. Of course RL is better when it comes to touch, feel, aroma and all the rest. But if one is going to have pixel sex my only real point was that it's better to do it with someone who has a good imagination and a varied vocabulary than someone who has the dollars to spend on the latest cartoon genitalia. Xcite and other scripted toys can sometimes distract your partner.

I have experienced lovers who are actually pretty good at normal text cyber sex reduced to click happy idiots when xcite was added.

Same issue can occur with sexgen beds. Because there are so many animations available they get cyber ADD and have to change positions on you every 30 seconds.

Basically the more things you give them to click and choose buttons on blue menus, the more attention they pay to the gizmos, and the less attention they pay to YOU the one they are cybering.

If on the other hand you are with someone who isn't distracted by all this nonsense, it works out fine,

Personally I am an imagination guy when it comes to love making as is my wife. We do use animated poses, but they are merely an aid, some of our best love making has even been on animations that did not match our imagination. We simply find out imagination much more intimate and personal to us, the animations everyone has and is the same for all.

As for parts this may ultimately come down to your personal preference between imperfect products unless you feel you can do better and have the motivation to tackle it yourself.

Not sure that is my experience. *sniffs* In real life, guys I've been with tend to be "finished" just when I'm starting to warm up. The slow pace of text is incredibly satisfying in comparison.

All the attachments, poseballs, animations, scripts, etc.... these are just props to help the play move along. Some props are better than others, and some props detract from the play. As to the original question, I think Winter Ventura's "Venus" for women is simply beautiful. The design is natural and spam-free.

I have experienced lovers who are actually pretty good at normal text cyber sex reduced to click happy idiots when xcite was added. Same issue can occur with sexgen beds. Because there are so many animations available they get cyber ADD and have to change positions on you every 30 seconds. Basically the more things you give them to click and choose buttons on blue menus, the more attention they pay to the gizmos, and the less attention they pay to YOU the one they are cybering. If on the other hand you are with someone who isn't distracted by all this nonsense, it works out fine,

We do use animated poses, but they are merely an aid, some of our best love making has even been on animations that did not match our imagination. We simply find out imagination much more intimate and personal to us, the animations everyone has and is the same for all. As for parts this may ultimately come down to your personal preference between imperfect products unless you feel you can do better and have the motivation to tackle it yourself.

The slow pace of text is incredibly satisfying in comparison. All the attachments, poseballs, animations, scripts, etc.... these are just props to help the play move along. Some props are better than others, and some props detract from the play. As to the original question, I think Winter Ventura's "Venus" for women is simply beautiful. The design is natural and spam-free.
