being that chilly started a thread about a class action suit against SL, I highly doubt that they will work with him to transfer his account...

From: Macphisto Angelus Well, that is one way to find out if Lindens DO read the forums. they do not have to be active readers of the forums, all they need is someone to point out these two threads to them (which I am thinking that someone out of all the ppl who post and lurk here, have already done)

1. You would be damn stupid fool if you buy an account "black" by getting the passwort & email and be able to login in future for free and full usage. This person could have done forbidden and criminal things in his 2ndLife/1stLife here, that could bring you into troubles too. 2. Inform, ask LL and let them know what is right.

If they had, they would have been banned for it, if it were ban-worthy. If it were not ban-worthy, then there's no problem. Anyway, it's not hard to transfer the new accounts assets to your already existing account and then just close the new one. But, as discussed earlier, trust is involved. I know of one particular individual having bought an account - the seller was selling this individual their business, and it was just simpler than selling them the land and buildings separately. All goes well with them.

In some ways it is right, but there are other ways you can see on the Internet or if you watch TV. If everything is so easy going, we are in heaven.
