From: Pserendipity Daniels I did the survey. If it's for someone who has contributed to the forums it's small payback. I even told the truth.
Pep (See - I *can* be nice to surveyors . . . ) Wow. I'm honored. I think I'm going to make a ribbon or something and wear it inworld that says 'Pep did my survey-AND told the truth!!'.

From: Bunni Menizah /me grins.
The project is 'Write me Business Plan.' He gave us 31 pages of information that should be in there, and we’re suppose to answer everything and turn it in by Wednesday. I fear that it’s going to be huge. And, as it seems I owe Phil an apology cause I am 'throwing together a business plan'. (Sorry Phil!) Lucky for me I have some of it done that I did on my free time, except some graphics and whatnot. If business is being taught like this at "Higher Education Facilities", I think we have teh(the) answer for our crumbling economy. I employ or rely upon people to keep me informed of business and arts decisions and would not expect any of them to conduct a 500 person survey, create a business plan (which are usually rubbish anyway), write a report (double-spaced by any chance?) that paraphrases and integrates 31 pages of information and maintain any sense of sanity and integrity in the next remaining 7 days. That time period may allow for a scantily written report but the survey will be mind-boggling to orchestrate and synthesize. I would ask for an extension. I am sorry that this assignment (which should be challenging and constructive) has become a turmoil-ridden and fraught vehicle for panic. Good luck. Dont forget to eat properly and dont discover Merlot and Chardonnay over the next little while. This doesn't really help you any - but at least it verbalizes what is probably going on in your own mind. I am SO glad I was never tempted to wander the halls of ivory towers.

I wasn't joking when I said I wanted to punch him in the throat. He's been doing this sort of crap all quarter...posting assignments 4 days out and expecting stellar results. I kept telling myself "Maybe he's trying to prepare us for the sudden deadlines in the business world." I work in the business world, in a high stress industry. I have sense decided that he really is the devil incarnate and enjoys watching his students flounder around like fish out of water. I'm luckier than some of the other students; I've been working on a business plan for almost a year for my own personal stuff. I'm lucky that I can use what I have and start from there. I really worry about the students that don't know where to start, and don't have the wonderful communities and reasources that I have access to. And my husband. I worry about him and my dogs that will be living in the same house with me for the next 7 days. Coffee and I have become awesome friends. I figure if I work on 4 hours of sleep from here until due date, working on my lunch break and at home after work (yes, I work a full time 7 to 4 job too), and with the weekend, I should be able to get something good together. You are right, though....I've gotten 250 response so far and I'm struggling to find a way to put all of this data into some form that I can use. My excel spread sheet has become sort of crazy....but atleast I can sort? I am determined to make the best damn business plan ever.....

Just took it. Good luck and when the class is all over, tell your professor he's an ass.
