Who can say what have I do? i can't log in during a week, the sistem writes: "Login failed. Unable to connect a simulator". What it means? I lost my account? or what? It would be not a problem, i can create new one, but I've got many expensive stuffs and I want to get them back.

You are probably stuck inworld.
This means the server thinks you are already logged in, but you are not.

Write a ticket on the Secondlife website, and explain the error. They will check if you are indeed stuck, or banned, or whatever.

when Ive had that in the past its to do with either two things
1) The conection with SL server is down to your area etc
2) its my connection

when youre stuck inworld you usually get the *still logging you out* message

I'm thinking firewall issue. Has your firewall software been updated recently? It might be worth verifying that SL has permission to access the internet.

Also, if you are using a router where you are, resetting it might help. I've seen routers arbitrarily close ports before (most annoying was when the damned thing crashed port 80....eek!)

Does not seem a local issue. No need to screw around with the LAN configuration.

Today this message seems to pop up intermittently. Some regions go offline from time to time.

Logging on to another region helps as a workaround.

You might be able to use live chat as well which is quicker.

Also.....keep in mind.....if you get that log-in error and you continue to try and log in......it will only PROLONG the log-out process that might be holding you up.

If this happens......most often you can wait a good 15 minutes and re-try........also try logging in to another region. This has happened to me and the first time...I made the mistake of trying to log-in constantly......and because I kept trying.....I couldn't get in for over an hour. Finally someone here said....."stop logging in and wait!" :p

I've never had a problem since....if I get an error....I wait t least 10 minutes....or if I crash....I wait at least 10 minutes before re-logging.....juuuust in case it is taking time to log me out. ;)

You did NOT lose your account just because you cannot log in.......if the problem continues......submit a support ticket......but there's no reason your account would be gone. Also, you would have received some kind of messege from LL in your email if it were suspended. So....don't panic.....SL has been wiggy lately.....chances are you'll be able to resolve this.

Also.....try disconnecting and turning off your modem....and then re-starting it. I have had a problem every so often with my cable internet.....where suddenly it's not recognizing IP's and wont allow to run SL (happened once).....I later found out that often times if you re-start your internet connection it will resolve those types of glitches.

I sent you an IM and an Object only because I read someplace that that can help get an avatar unstuck.

I got this message back.

Ok. It is possible there is an issue with your account. Submitting the ticket was the best thing you can do. They can look at your account and go from there. I would suggest trying to log into the main page as the avatar. If you can do that, then there may be an issue someplace else that we here on the forum cannot help you out.

I've recieved this answer:

"We have solved your issue
Solution: Hello Warg,

Thanks for getting in touch about your problem. You may have to speak to the admin at the school/corporate to see if they have the ports open to accept secondlife.

Many thanks
Robbo ontyne

Evidently they didn't understand the problem. Try creating another ticket, and explain EVERYTHING you've tried - especially the part about being able to successfully log in as an alt using the same viewer on the same computer on the same internet connection.

I still have no answer for my 2nd ticket. And I still can't log in. Seems Linden Lab wants to spit on us. They do all for that we feel ourself uncomfortable in SL. Crashes, lags, lost things, stolen avatars. Although they create many rules for us like in russian concentration camps.

Where is it?

I knew that ticket will give no help to me.
Somebody knows where are sims with live helpers? Sims where everyone can chat with LL officers? Once I was in one of them but didn't save a landmark.
