From: Magdalena Siemens Serina I did read "Main Kampf" and "Hunters of Gor", trust me, mein Kampf is much better but I wouldn't RP that - I think. Imagine the controversial discussions in the forums about an "Ausschwitz" SIM, or RP raids in SL Poland...uaaaa....what a bizzarre thought - but in SL everything seams to be possible. I do however enjoy RP in SL Gor.. Regards Maggie Panther of Troy Greetings Maggie, as it happens i have read Hunters of Gor and i loved the book , ive also read Slave of Gor too help me maintain the perfect charactor and too learn the things i need too know for the RP. Czari i may just im in world thank you for answering the question i posted and i agree with you that she does not know much about it. I hate that people just go on about how bad it is when they have not even looked into it.

Hitler's Mein Kampf was translated into "My Struggle" Now anybody worth their salt knows a good kajira in Gor won't ever struggle... Well unless her Master asks her nicely and says please properly...And maybe promises to go shopping for silks after.. been there done that..but brought my own silks! Keep her muted and don't allow anyones "know it all" attitude to ruin your SL experience. Grrr people like that fire me up!

If the two of you were chatting and your personal inclinations entered into it (hard not to, given the spiffy outfits and titles you folks like to sport), you should not be surprised if she gave you a piece of her mind. But I'd take offense, too, if someone IMed me out of the blue to give me an unwanted opinion on how to live my second life. Or didn't let it go once I told them I didn't want their opinion.
I may think that Gor is the dumbest concept I've yet encountered on SL but, like many people, I just point and snicker from a distance and let those folks go about their ways.
I don't care what Gor is "really" about - if I see a woman being led about on a leash I have to resist an urge to deliver a swift slap upside the head. But I certainly wouldn't IM her to present a misinformed lecture. That's not what SL is about for me.
B.

LOL Funny thing is very few SL kajira would understand what is wrong with that statement.

Or didn't let it go once I told them I didn't want their opinion. I've been IM'd by total strangers telling me my AV was too pale. What is with this deal of people IMing out of the blue to "offer" their greatly unwanted and unappreciated opinions? If I "asked" someone their opinion, that is a whole other kettle of fish, but seems like it doesn't have to be anything really controversial to get asshats IMing. Unless pale skin has become controversial and no one sent me the memo.

From: Serina Breda Well i certainly had a very strange night tonight i had this woman contact me out of the blue, it started of quite pleasant then all off a sudden she starts going on and on and on about how Gor is bad and how it's something too do with Hitlars Mein Kampf whatever that means, then she was saying how being a participent makes me a bad rolemodel for Woman everywhere just because i enjoy it. I just found all this very strange so if anyone who participates in Gor in you ever get contacted by someone like this i would just ignore her she is probally gonna do the same too you. I have also muted her i would suggest any participating do the same I'd love it if you IM'd me her name inworld. I have words for people that have for words for people in Gor.

I don't have a clue about Gor either, but remember when you see someone on a leash it is her leading Him, not the other way around. With out the sub the Master is nothing.
