If he was nice about spelling and grammar help he would have typed 'Zindra' and not 'Zendra'. Poor skratch will be searching fruitlessly for Zendra and be so disappointed not to find it. You obviously haven't ever visited Zendra!!! Pep (Look it up.  )_____________________

PS Don't go near Gor places though; since you haven't capitalised your first name they will assume you are a slave. I didn't see it mentioned here- don't forget going to XStreetSL. Plenty of freebies there. Quite a few options to let you limit or order your search results based on being free or lowest-price first. Ooh, Amity, do you have suggestions for search terms? I'm pretty good at searching xstreetSL.com, but I didn't turn up anything. As one would expect, a search for "male avatar" sorted by ascending price produces page after page of women's clothes. I tried searching for "male skin" and "male shape" too. (I'm not trying to be a smartass - I figured I'd save the guy the trouble of searching.) . _____________________

Actually skratch, the latest fashion is to look like a noob. Really, the girls go wild over it for some reason. /me dons the hip waders to slog through Pep's sarcasm Not a chance in the world if ya look like a noobz. Pep (And don't beat about the bush, just ask straight out for what you want from the women in world.) Shows how much you know Pep.. this one actually *increases* ones chances with me. I love blunt.. no misunderstandings that way  And I highly recommend against spending any money in your first 2-4 weeks -- until you get a better idea of what SL is like, whether or not you will stay, and ultimately what you want your image here to be. I would recommend putting payment info on file and buying $1 worth of L$, then removing the info. That way the noobie purchase limit clock starts ticking. _____________________

I think it was the lowercase on the first name (skratch rather than Skratch) that caused the name change. In a lot of ways, I understand that. _____________________

Say something like Home -> Avatar Appearance -> Avatar Components -> Avatar Shapes -> Male Avatar Shapes. Now, when you do a search for whatever search term, right under the search window are two checkboxes, for "Search within the current category" and "Include subcategories." Then, after your search results come back, you can re-order the results by choosing "Sort by price: Low to high." You have to do this after every search, because the sort order will sorta wander from your last choice. (When you are in a small category, you may not even need to search. It's probably worthwhile to look at all the L$ 0 male avatar shapes. The sorting options work with search or browse.) When using more than one search term, it seems to default to searching for either one term or the other. To search for both, use the +. "+male +skin". If there is something irrelevant still polluting your search, use -. I use "-demo" frequently. |

Meaning that you were searching for items that had 'male' 'avatar' and 'male avatar' in them. Likely the number of female avatars returned far axceeded the other results.  To require one of the words to be present, without surrounding the search terms in quotes(thus possibly limiting your search results too much), put a + sign in front of a word. For instance searching for +male +avatar would require all search results to have both words, in any order. If you google boolean search, you'll learn all sorts of things you probably don't even want to know about xstreetsl search. *wink* _____________________
