(New Search) Parcels won't show

Some parcels over my land won't show on the new search engine. Initially i thought it was because of "dunno were i finished in the list...", but after i've placed a classified on that parcel i've found the "mistery".
First the classified shows correctly, but when i click on it i see no objects (for sale) into the parcel, and a message says:

"We're sorry: This item's privacy settings prevent us from showing you any further details about it."

..i don't know what that's means, but im spending money for nothing here. The land has "show on search" activated and the objects too. Anyone found a similar problem?

I reply to myself since i've found the problem here: the new search won't keep any other parcel than the first one (or the biggest?) in the region, i've checked several regions with different parcels inside, but when you click on that region from the new search it says: "Places in this Region:" ...but only 1 place/parcel is listed there.
Ok the new search still in beta, but they put it on the offical client, so the customers are using it, how is supposed they'll find something if only a portion of the obecjts inside a region are listed?

I have 5 separate parcels in a sim, 4 which are marked and they show in search. It sounds like you have not clicked the "Show Place in Search" tab for all your parcels...

I've exactlly the same problem..

However my region can show me 2 parcels..not just one like you...

Hi Vittorio. I am not sure I understand what you are describing. Do you fnd that each region only supports one classified? Or one parcel listing items for sale? Is this when you search for a region in the all part of search?

I just checked in my region (Takalo). I put the region name into search, clicked on it and see several parcels listed. When I click on them multiple parcels list items for sale. I didn't search for classified though. Is that what you did? Sorry if I am too dense to understand.

and since i think it's related, i've reopened that ticket (marked as solved) adding more details.

@Nimue: the classified works correctly, it's the parcels that won't be "collected" by the search engine. If i search for my Region (SIM) with the new search, it shown the "places" on that region, and only ONE parcel is listed currently, while i have two on it (both correctly marked to show into the search.. in fact they shows up in the old search for places, and they are "old" so it's not a problem of 24-48 hours), so ANY object on that parcel that isn't collected by the search engine is NOT shown into the new search engine.
I've tried to mark/unmark things (shown on search etc.) but it doesn't work, so i guess the crawler is failing randomly while it collects the parcels (and the objects inside these parcels).

I've not only flagged the parcels correctly.. but i'm also paying that 30$L for each parcel to show into the search...

It is probably related to the problem with only one classified ad showing up in the body of search - probably their anti-spam measures kicking in a little too aggressively.

Hummo.... what you mean with only one classified? They are correctly listed (both), the problem it's the parcel that is not, the "fun" part is that i have currently an ad (showing) on a parcel that doesn't exists (for the search engine).
And about spam.. well, i've created that parcel for that exact pourposes: spam! ...it's not because i do not trust about my products [modesty on]they are the best around[modesty off] but because it's this damn in-world business: i've figured in a less than 1 month that the challenge isn't who's putting much effort in his own creations, but of who exploits better the search engine (even with the new search engine). But let's return in-topic.

Well, just a heads up to those having trouble getting their parcels to show, also check your products. There is a severe bug occurring, mostly on objects set to sell a copy (but occasionally on sell contents also), where after a purchase the Show in Search box become unchecked. Several people have verified this happening, including myself. It is being discussed on SLX here:

I've listened about it... but i never had a prove of the problem. I randomly find my products with the show on search unflagged, but im not sure that's because they have been bought (and im sure it doesn't happen 100% of the times.. if it happens at all).
Anyway my parcel still in the limbo... i think it's time to open a ticket too.

I have to keep track of sales and go around after and reset each item back to show on search. Others are having to do this also. :^/

I saw that too, a classified the other day on the featured side but not in the main list. Searching for any of the words or phrases in that ad came back with nothing found in the new search, although it was the only ad that showed up in the old classified search!

I made sure i went around every item I have for sale on my land and set it to 'show in search' on Saturday i had 50 sales and everyone of those items had 'show in search' turned off, even those that sold more than one copy that day, for those items i had to check 'show in search' every time they were purchased.

It's 100% every time with every sale for me

I think they have a size limit on the search... parcels under a certain size are not listed, even though they are being paid for.

I don't know what this size is, as I have not had time to test it.

better give up thinking about it as most likely LL themself have no clue

as it`s in the current release client, it`s gone from beta to public beta, thankgod the older client has no new search and not forced to downgrade lol

This is what i tought initially, and i assumed it wasn't possibile since there's a proposal on JIRA to "ignore" the land smaller than a certain size (those 16mq..) and official Linden words said: "no...." (anyway the proposal still open), then just to be sure/safe i've searched for other regions (where the search works) and i've checked that some other 48mq parcels where crawled correctly... my parcel is 48mq too and it's not being listed. Anyway the message clearly says (i don't know if that's a standard msg): "because of privacy settings" (that would happens if you do not have "show on search" flag turned on... but it is on ideed).
Posted here + JIRA bug + operator chat didn't solved the problem yet... let's hope.

But my I did misunderstand that they were referring to land parcels rather than objects

I've finally talked with an operatore (no solutions...) he forwarded then my ticket to the devs... stay tuned for more updates.

Been talking to them since this all started. No one I have talked to has a clue, one tried hard, one didn't try anything and one said she hated the new search too.
We have had a ticket open for a few weeks now without anyone really doing anything. The guy that tried hard did update the ticket to say what he tried and that's it.

I have to say again, why are our business's being used in a beta test we did not want when it affects our SL incomes so drastically? This could force us to close down, change to basic or free from the $200.00+ monthly payments and my wife is talking WoW for a change. I downloaded the WoW free trial (over 3 gig d/l!) last night.
