Why would they? You can be anything you like in SL. Good point, although I still choose to look like me, but i run a few successful businesses in SL, and in RL, I live in a city that has been ravaged by the economy and really, I desest eeverything about the city I live in. It has zero arts, all those silly carbon copied "Cape Cod" type houses, all the same, all with plastic siding. In SL I chose to sort of 'test run' business plans from RL, ideas I had, things I learned through life. SL is sort of my sounding board for RL. So I suppose this really depends on how you want to take this, SL vs RL. I am really happy with my looks in RL, they have pretty much gotten me where I am today, sad but true. Not to brag, lol |

mostly me, faces are hard to reconstruct, and skins don't match up perfectly with all settings. I'm me with improvments.

It's not exact, because I don't have the skill. My hair color changes in real life a few times a year as well. Its mostly me.

Physically, my main avatar is an idealized version of me, for the most part: younger, taller, slimmer, with better proportioned facial features.
Emotionally, Ro is me, except she's a little bit more extroverted.

Not at all. I need to maintain a professional look. Why the hell would I make an avatar that looks like me when I have to deal with how I look every day? I'd rather do something I'm not able to do.

From: Conifer Dada Since you can be what you like in SL, a slightly creepy thought is that some people might have an avatar that is made to look like someone else they know in RL. Maybe I'm not such a creep after all then there may be hope for me yet. I never though about making my appearance look like somebody you know in RL. You can make a avatar look like somebody you really like physicaly in RL make a avatar that looks like him in Sl and have sex with him/that avatar in SL. Or does that make me look like a creep saying this?  |
