There's been so much stress, so much back and forth, so much controversy, I honestly just walked away from it all. I did the only thing I could do.. I redesigned my store.

I have 4128sqm. So I went through and chopped out a nice clean rectangle.. 2160 in size. I built a store in this section.. 36x60m. I reorganized my stuff, and waited. I didn't change any ads or listings.. I just waited to see what happened.

My plan then was simply to wait until the last possible day, and file a ticket.

See.. I sell stuff. My shop isn't a sex club, it just has vendors. But among the items I sell there are genitals and fetishwear and bondage gear. But the Lindens were really clear about the fact that we WOULD be allowed to sell "Adult Items" on "Mature Land". But ths double-whammy with the search filtering.. well.. I knew it would be a problem.

But how do you sell genitals, without using related keywords?

Like many here, I got the email too. The automated process has determined that *something* I'm putting in my classifieds or something, is triggering the red flag. So, I put in a ticket.

I told them, I don't care where it is, but I'd like water if it's available.. but all I need is a 36x60 rectangle.

I'm 90% sure they're just going to say "it's not adult enough".. and they'll deny me my switch. But in the event that they do approve it.. I'll set up an identical shop in both locations, and only advertise the adult items on the adult parcel.. then we'll have a race to see whether searc, or word of mouth, is the real driver of sales.

See, I have this feeling that I could remove my search description entirely.. and could stop paying for any classifieds.. and not see more than a blip in terms of sales/traffic.

I'll take your half, with this addendum. With the seeming mass emailing they are sending out NOW, they have shown they are capable of it when it suits their purpose. They could have done the same thing in the beginning, but they didn't, for whatever reason. So they still get a big FULL from me.

I'm really beginning to think there is more to this than simple incompetency, that this is a planned money grab. And I think it's disguisting.

No reason why a Vulcan wouldn't be a good dancer. After all, dancing is merely a series of muscular movements synchronized to a rhythmic pattern, usually of predictable repitition.
