They bolster their stance that they are not responsible for the content creating by their residents by showing that they provided all the tools that residents needed to prevent minors from accessing their adult material.

Unfortunately for LL, they've admitted on jira, that the tools available to parcel owners (as opposed to estate owners) are not particularly useful in preventing minors from accessing adult material.

The current issue is that since one of the server code updates, NOBODY can access a parcel that is flagged as age verified except the owner. It tells you "You have to be age verified, go to the website". You go to the website and it say "You are already Age verified".

This is one of several JIRA's https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3923

As to stopping frivolous lawsuits, the only way to fix that is to put the legal system back to the British system it was based on. In England, any lawsuit that gets tagged as frivolous costs the plaintive big time. As a result, lawyers are unwilling to file such lawsuits pro-bono because they end up eating the costs and it damages their creditability.
