The UEFA cup?
Sorry I know is a lame thread, I blame the fact that I am left to my own devices whilst the other is at work!
But YAY Spurs are winning 1-nil!
Do you think we should be able to play football in SL? How funny would that be....Five aside on a Sunday at a Sim near you!

I also actually have a legit question...Have thought about this lots..
Do you think our Avies should have to eat when in world? Don't you think that would open up a whole new dimension...? So for example our energy goes down..some more than others *wink wink* and you have to replenish..it would open up lots of business opportunity's which in turn should help the sl economy. It would also be quite a social thing..
Hmmm Thinking..

In the cup for Totting-ham.
Chas n Dave will rubbing their hands with glee. Be afraid, be very afraid!
I've had some great days out at White Hart Lane, Villa stuffed them a few times.

He was a coach driver when he left the RAF and I remember being on one of the trips to White Hart lane and everyone was singing.. "Spurs are on their way to Wembley....." Gave me goosebumps.. was a tiny kid and loved them since!

Actually back in the days when I was new, I was invited into a team to play in a scripted stadium but I never got around to it and then group limits kicked in. The question should be, why don't the Beeb or SKY do a deal to broadcast highlights into SL and hey you could have a telly in a club or bar showing it.

There is an SL ice hockey league and it's pretty funny to watch the games. It's primitive, but it is hockey. I've never played (only watched) but there are male and female players in this SL hockey league.

That is such a good point...the Premiership is huge it would be a fantastic chance to go around the world, after all thats what they are aiming for now.. We could have proper sports bars in SL showing the matches and everyone hanging out enjoying the banter

Huge Spurs fan. Trying to watch the game on a dodgy stream while running SL and browsing here.
Multitasking no longer the preserve of women. At least not in the Herzog household.

And a 1-nothing lead is nothing in basketball. Oh, and I have seen live events that mention sports events. I have never had my time match up correctly, though, to be able to watch. I really want to see something like that, a sports event or a play, or even, heaven forbid, ballet or opera.

From: Max Herzog This Spurs were strutting their stuff before basketball was invented. I do not even like basketball, was just confused. Which city does the club known as the Spurs play out of? And my . . . I still cannot get "L-I-V-E-R-P-doubleo-L" out of my head from watching a particular episode of that British television series Cracker starring Robbie Coltrane.

LOL Spurs is a nickname for Tottenham Hotspurs they are a London football club (American friends will know it as soccer) in England oh and the Spurs chants are a lot more catchy then anything that appeared in Cracker!

Yep, I don't know much about football (or soccer to us yanks), but I know enough to know that the Gunners and Spurs love to hate each other....lol. And if Arsenal ever lose to the Spurs, I totally avoid my husband that day. Me and the kids go visit friends for the day.

Oh, I know of Football/soccer. Even been to games in the USA (pathetic as our attempt at that sport might be). Visited a stadium in the UK right before a game, but didn't actually go into the stadium. Wild and wacky stuff.
