From: Gizzy Nubalo How about featuring some 1940's pin-up girls posters? Have AVs dress up and take photos for the walls. Stuff like the army/navy recruiting posters for the war effort, that kind of thing? LOL this post in another thread got me thinking, if SL was at war what Propaganda Posters would we see? I'm not skilled at MSPaint but I'm sure other people can make some showstoppers.? See the Grid......Join Caledon Navy. The War in Jessie Needs YOU! Join the Vamp Hunt, Let Uncle Phillip bring out the Neko in You!

What do you mean "if"?
Pep (Reading these forums and the blog comments would make you think the population were under permanent attack by the Lindens)

This is actually an outstanding idea Tegg! In my conception: They would ideally capture the essence of a body of like minded individuals and communities mobilized against some "dreaded" opposition. And if I may take the liberty of identifying that opposition, considering the one thing we all have in common. How about those who include not only the Non-Believers in Virtual Worlds but in addition those who are Opposed to them. There may not actually be very many of those but we definately know they are "out there". This somewhat fictional "opposition" would inspire the rallying cry of the masses. Naturally the necessity of the cause could be overblown for dramatic flair to make the story more compelling. Yet this could be the type of evolving story that takes plot clues from current events. Plus you never know something like this could itself evolve into a real Virtual World Coalition for the promotion and advancement of Virtual Worlds. I think I will slip this into my project list as it sounds fun. Perhaps you should form a group about it. As it could even become sort of a evolving novella. It seems that a name for the group and project must be more than say "SL Army" or something like that. As I have seen many of those group names. How about the "The Global Federation of Virtual Worlds". If you asked me a couple of years ago I would have to say that the number of virtual world residents represented a very small minority. However now I suspect that our numbers have increased dramatically especially when you include all the others, games and web based virtual environments. Pardon my brain is running away. Again great idea Tegg, sounds fun! Also pardon my lack of research on the subject if one or more of these groups already exists. Feel free to IM or PM me if you would like to discuss further.

From: Clarissa Lowell "We Can Build It" (Rosie the Riveter poster only it's a female avatar with a prim.) Or the original text "We Can Do It" for Zindra. Use your imagination for the image.

Next Step - RP Wars?
08-17-2009 07:57
I've often thought it'd be a blast if some of the RP sims staged wars against each other. Elfs lay seige to Midian one weekend? Goreans sack a Victorian sim for their women? True to RP it would require consent, but there could be some fun in this. How to handle the inconsistent stories though? I'll leave that one to better minds.

Ha - multi sim combat huds. Not a bad idea.
Certain sims regardless of theme, you could be up for grabs. But with the new rules it would all have to be PG roleplay mind you. Lol
