From: Jesseaitui Petion Maybe one reason people *dont* is because they think they will be asked to pay for the product or return it. I think if someone is decent enough to IM the owner of their mistake the owner should not ask for anything in return....................................... Thanks for all your posts. My intention was to hear some of the dumb things you guys have done. And thanks for your stories But I think it appears some of you misinterpreted the last line of my original post... No, I didn't ask her to pay for it, and nor did I expect her to. I also didn't offer her a reward, or another home, or anything other than a redfaced thankyou immensely. I'm in her debt. She checked all the houses... and recvd 3 free ones.... So no, I wasnt goign to reward her. But I am very greatful. I have indeed done the same thing myself, IMd a creator and asked them if something was supposed to be that low of a price/free/not for sale/ etc. And it's nice to know people do help each other on occasion.

From: bilbo99 Emu One *of* them Klipang .... maybe one *of* them. Quite right my friend - thanks for pointing that out. My world view isn't really *that* cynical.

From: Jesseaitui Petion I remember once I was in a shop, and the owner had a necklace set for "20" instead of "200". I noticed it and IMd her, "Hi i was at your shop and <item name> was set for $20 and the rest were $200, just thought i`d let you know " The response was something like "Well i guess you got a discount then". No "Thank you" or anything, I cant help but think her response was said in a snotty tone. *Shrug* I didnt even buy the necklace either. I had one similar, I found a top designer had an outfit up that was full mods and IMd her. Now, if someone IMs me with a mistake I have done, while being completely embarassed about my mess up, I thank them to a extreme and go fix my issue. The one I told just said 'ok' and that was it. I mean, this was a 500L outfit (one of the few Ive ever gotten at that price and never even wear) that could have gone out as full perms for a long time. Maybe when people are embarassed they react this way though...I would always IM a designer about an error, I am disappointed to see that not everyone does. The rest of the posts are right though, this was a great form of getting your name out there! Hopefully the houses were no tran.

From: JessyAnne Theas Thanks for all your posts. My intention was to hear some of the dumb things you guys have done. Oh, I don`t do dumb things. J/K. Gurrl that be messed up! (lol) I would have felt like going and buying it redistributing it. Of course, I would never do that, but these sorts of feelings arise when you feel you`ve been treated wrong. Who in their right mind would reply with an "ok" to that type of thing? I guess that`s the issue, many "Designers" are not in their right mind, they`re in some type of fantasy mind and think they`re better than everyone. Shoot, if I had a full perm item out I would be pissed off people had it, but thankful to the person who notified me.
