Hello again. Thanks to everyone who gave suggestions to my last question even if it did not go the way I was expecting. I did meet a couple of guys I think were nice but then I got invited out to Barbados for a week and when I got back I had to go to Spain so I have not got very far although I met a handsome Spanish man called Pep which was funny since Pep here gave me the best advice. While I was away I got to thinking about what makes a nice guy like some of you asked last time. I think I said I wanted to meet men in sl who did not think they were Gods gift and who could pay me a compliment without calling me u. So I thought I would ask you all to tell me what you think makes a nice guy in sl or what maybe makes someone not a nice guy which might help me not make mistakes. I should say again that I am not intrested in meeting anyone outside sl to stop people from starting that again. By the way someone suggested I should meet Jumpy. Is that Jumpman Lane because I have looked at his posts and you have got to be joking. Another person from England who can't spell "interested"  ....... Royal waves for extra lolz . . |

I was fortunate enough to find a "nice" guy on SL in my first few days. We have been together ever since. Decent, kind men do exist on here, not just players and horndogs (which i have mostly run into)
What makes a nice guy? A kind heart, a willingness to give without expecting in return. Devoted with out being controling. A nice guy is happy for you when you want to go with your friends and have a good time, even if he can not go, and won't be jealous about it. Someone who will be a shoulder when you need one and treat you with respect. A guy who is willing to be your friend and then your lover; and one who is a good friend to other people. And being romantic really helps too. And BTW this works the same way for girls. Too. |

A guy asked me if I knew how to make money in SL, I thought he was propositioning me and tp'd away quickly. It makes me laugh now  He IM'd me asking if he did something wrong, which turned into a conversation, which turned into a partnership, and more than a year later, still partnered. So the moral to the story is, if you want to find a nice guy, don't just not look, run away!_____________________

You ran away from your partner, I ran OVER mine...stupid slow comp that i had ran me over him. then I crashed and re-rezzed on his head!!!! ROFL. My comp was so slow that i could not be around more than 2 other avi's without crashing. So he stuck with me in places with no people, when even my RL friends wouldn't. He could have been hanging with a lot of friends, but was there for me. And he dealt with all the lagging and time wasted by my old comp.
