I use mine to hold dog treats when dog training. LOL just the right size for a small tupperware container of cheese bits or bacon. leaves my hands free to control the puppy.  |

I have never wanted one nor wore one. I do have SOME class, ya know.  I remember being at Myrtle beach a few years back, noticing my dad was wearing one, along with white socks & sandals, his beer gut hanging out over the awful plaid shorts. Then I noticed.... he was dressed like all the other guys his age.

(Guess I kind of tipped my hand on that one, eh?) Scyll, I know exactly the kinda bags - backpack - you mean. Dont get one - they are really uncool. Like socks with kittens on them. They look sanctimonious. Get a decent bag. I cant advertize real here but when I get on line again I'll give you a listing in real. The bags are reasonably priced and well-made. Yeah get a shoulder bag or a decent tote. But please get leather. It's so so much more stylish and tasteful.

Same here. it's also great for going to sporting events or festivals and such where I don't want to lug around a handbag. I can stick my essentials into it. Same goes for holiday shopping. I'll wear one under a big sweater and put in my cash , cards, ID and phone and do some power shopping. But if it's any consolation, Jig, I do prefer leather fanny packs.

Good leather bags - and good DOES mean expensive - are essential. Good shoes, good bag, a discreet scent: Good taste. Agreed, but there are times where concessions to style must be made.
