I only got paid once, but my alt got paid twice. Typical.

Don't be sad. Those of us that were paid twice will be made to suffer somehow. After all, it is our fault that this happened.

I got paid twice but don't have any land that has fees involved since my only land is SL Volunteer Island land which is rent free and can't really be put into show in search since it's limited access to volunteers and Lindens.

I don't really have any place to blame them if they decide to subtract the extra 50L$ from everyone's balance but that may put people into a negative balance and the better way to do it would be for them to refund anyone they double charged and leave people who got paid twice keep it and leave it be as an acknowledged mistake and as a financial incentive for them to fix the problem and not make it again.

Mystery (sort of) solved.

$L300 for most, and $L500 for a few. I think that they should view it as an economic stimulus or lottery win and just let it go. Subsidized by the double billing for directory fees ( ) for the losers.

Stipend twice, directory fees just once. I assume they have the technology to retrieve it though.

I am sure that they can retrieve the overpayment if they want to. This happened before (Everyone got the $L500 stipend rate) and the overage was not retrieved.

Biggest mystery is why some and not others. Random glitch or rooted in some data base error. I recently had to update CC info (expired card date). Maybe (shot in the dark) this was in play here.

I got paid once, dinged double for places fee. I'm not that lucky!

I'd imagine it would be easiest for anyone they've double paid to just skip next week rather than try to debit that back, since it might already have been spent? We'll see when they figure it out...

Yep same here. Just one time stipend, but double for parcel directory fee. Still didn't get a refund.

I got paid my stipend twice (L$400).
I put in a support ticket and was referred to the explanatory link mentioned above.
So far the money hasn't been retreived. If I get to keep it I'll give some extra tips when I go clubbing!

Double whammy! Nothing new to have something go wrong with stipends and parcel fees.. There has been some minor problems in the past. But they always fix it and pay everyone back if owed anything.

i have had live chat to make sure its not my fault - mixed up payment info, whatever, ...

what is this directory fee .is it for a group or what?
i don't ever remember having to pay those when i was premium or anything but tier.

Parcel directory fee is for when you want your land to turn up in Search.

The problem lies in, charged twice paid once people such as myself.... I want my cut.

I scored a double stipend. My alt got it paid normally. Randomness.


I bought an orrery.

One stipend, two directory fee charges. Sigh.

Three double parcel search charges and one extra stipend, so I'm still L$210 in the green if they don't reverse it.
