I should add,I would never go through the motions and get married in SL just to have a party....But If some how I got sucked into it,Ricardo is correct about ME,that most of it would be for show and afterwards I'd be like WTF did I just do?  Sounds funny but it's true. |

I am going to my very first SL wedding soon.(yay!) What makes a good gift for the bride and groom in SL? And where would one find these gifts? Why are you sad Lexxi? Don't worry I am still planning our road trip!Many moons ago two things happened in rapid succession. First "thing": I was invited to a wedding but was then disinvited. Then the bride and groom showed up where my very first gallery was sitting and started gushing about the wedding (they didn't come to see me, I was just there as they gushed to their friend; his land, he was letting me put up an art-gallery there). The wedding I had been disinvited too. Second "thing": around that time period, I think slightly after that, but maybe before that wedding, I became engaged. Then less than a month the other party "left" Second Life ("left" because I saw evidence of their entering Second Life months after they "left"; no partnership occured in that less than a month). Actually three things. The third one being that I left the account I was using at the time with all this hitting me at the "same" time, had to leave. Artwork: heh, I'm just bitter, I guess, in that I never could get my Second Life art gallery that contained my real life artwork to do anything except sit there for a combined . . um . . 7 months. Now all this "buy artwork" as a gift. heh. Right, see, I was just going to say that I was sad, but you dragged it out of me. Um. Sorry for being a downer. Go . . um .. . partnerships! or something. _____________________

They were moving in together and then seperating and then coming together again so often that I have no idea. All this happened a long time ago. I've attended two weddings in RL, one a fancy deal in a church, the other a MP administered one in the couple's condo. No weddings in SL attended by me. _____________________
