Yes we should Claire! OMG, one of the best parties I ever went to in RL was one where the everyone wore their...worst wedding party attire. The women wore their most horrific bridesmaid's dress and, well, the guys mostly just wore jeans and tuxedo t-shirts. A prize given to the person wearing the WORST outfit...heh, guess who? (yes, it was perfectly AWFUL)

I haven't looked at bridesmaid-y dresses here in SL, but a wedding dress party sounds like FUN. Well, ANY party sounds like fun...!

Lol! Maybe now I'll regret trashing all those freebie wedding dresses. I do hate the idea of buying one for a party but I'll suck it up for the sake of a good time

It's a great idea actually, but you'll have to find someone with a VERY large piece of land. Those dresses take up a lot of space!

I have a lot of land we could use,but it's mainland. So not exactly prime wedding material..

Rioko, I'd be happy to also let it be at my place, depending on the date/time. Even if I could not be there, I'd be happy to let you all use it, if you think it works for the party.

I'm on mainland, however, my place is more of an "island", very private, no adfarms, etc. Linden protected waters. Not as large as yours, it's 2560 but has another annex of 1024 so the prims are higher. I could remove a lot of things I don't need upstairs for the party, to free up even more prims (right now, I have a lot available as it is). The house itself, is a very open plan too - very party friendly.

If you want to go take a look, look up my profile; it's on the picks and tp over and see what you think. We can always redecorate the land to your desire and I'll just put it back in order afterwards

I have almost 27,000M of ground completely open(all my rentals are in the sky). And the sim is pretty nice,but it just doesn't scream wedded bliss to me,lol.

He wanted me to trade him my prim land; which is in a good location, for some he has in a cruddy location and we had some words over it (long story, but the short version is he owns nearly the whole Sim and is quite greedy about wanting all the prime land in it IMO).

Most likely. But hey, it's "only a dress" Can't speak for any of the rest of you, but I am already on my 2nd husband and I am not looking for a 3rd. I don't have the time, or the inclination. So, the guys are safe with me I just like the idea of having an excuse to wear a floaty, lacy, white dress again without having to spend a fortune on it, let alone I know my Av will make a stunning bride

Not me! I've been to a few weddings in SL and I think I have about every free and not free tux out there, I love weddings!
BTW who is the green guy? I need to have a heart to heart talk with the guy and let him know I am not jealous at all. I keep bumping into all these guys at the forum who are developing crushes on Claire (Claire you are a mighty fine catch I must say!) And I feel like the luckiest man in SL to be her boyfriend (MAIN boyfriend anyway) like I said, I LOVE weddings! And if you look close in my profile, you may notice I took out the sentence that says 'no partners please'...now what possessed me to go and edit out something I swore I would keep in there?
