From: Skye Whitcroft He tried to create a new role and call the role "owner" but he didn't have the ability to put powers in the role so he wasn't able to dupe his victims into thinking they were the owners of the land. Instead, he just took their money. I hope you've fixed your group settings so that only owners and officers are allowed to create new roles. It sounds like being able to give himself the title within the group was a significant part of his confidence game.

This topic is a Private Discussion Forum GuidelinesPrivate discussions – the forums are a public area for the Second Life community’s use. Individuals who have a dispute with each other have other channels of communication to discuss their differences or communicate – private messaging, IM within Second Life, or chatting within Second Life. Also, threads that are addressed to a single individual or group are inappropriate on the forums, this includes slander or "naming names" in a posts title, starting polls about a particular resident or group, etc. I am not a lawyer, do not use this as legal advice, you accept all responsibility. Put it in the group bi-laws that anyone perpetrating fraudulent land deals voids their lease, will be banned from the group, reported to LL and subject to possible legal action. Use a group notice to send the update, if he does it again, ban him from the group and cease the land in question. You will need to provide a clause for dispute resolution or your rules if legally challenged will be found to be a contract of adhesion.
