From: Conifer Dada After you've sold or deleted the things you really don't want, you'll probably be left with a load of stuff you can't quite bring yourself to get rid of in case you need it one day!
In a place where 'build' is enabled, rez a prim on the ground - anything - cube, sphere, whatever. Rename the prim something like 'spare stuff' or 'crap'. The open its 'contents' tab. Click/drag all your surplus stuff from your inventory across to the contents panel and it will be moved or copied there depending on permissions. Delete items from your inventory that you copied to the box.
When you have saved all the stuff you want in the box, 'take' it back to your inventory. It only appears as 1 item in the inventory count, even if it has 40 things in it. Also, it does not open accidentally like folders sometimes do as you move the cursor down the list.
If you want to get at the stuff, either rez the box and open it or edit it and open 'contents'. Yay now I know how to box my stuff up and give it to a charity place I found called sparrows. When you box it all up are you able to transfer it? |
