Shadows doesn't work properly. From my testing:
1) Using AA together with shadows crashes the viewer on Nvidia cards. This is apparently a known problem, searching on the net.
2) Using shadows causes property line displays to be messed up.
3) It doesn't for me display entirely correctly yet. There are shadows where none should be. Could be a bug somewhere, though.
I would prefer it not be activated until it works completely.

If it were more easily activated more people would probably try it and hence more work would probably be done on making shadows work properly.
The only thing it sems to cause problems wih for me is alpha textures dissapearing, they fix that and I'm happy.
I've got Snowglobe with it on all the time with no other issues, if I want it off it's quicker to relog with a different viewer than go the secret debug setting hoop jumping combination to turn it off and on.
