From: Elora Lunasea Ghosty has read everything here cheater! That is not staying away, that is lurking!! hehe good luck with the staying away part, I tried it, even posted I was gonna try it must say you got a much better reception than I did. funny that.... some folks post that they are gonna take a break and are told to not let the door hit them in the ass on the way out, others say same thing, and get the hugs and well wishes. *shrug* (and both could be nice people, not asshats, and each get a different response)

From: Clarissa Lowell If she clicks on you, do you turn grey? She turned me grey long ago . . . Pep (I prefer the adjective "silver-haired" actually)

From: Ghosty Kips I've noticed I've gotten short-sighted, assumptive, impatient and rash when posting on these threads of late. I don't like my own attitude and, moreover, I don't like the way I've come off to others.
So, I'm taking a break. Between the trolls, griefing alts and, shall we say, certain less than helpful residents, I think I'm turning into one of those myself at times. I need to stay out of this place for a good while, regain my composure, get back to a place where I know who I am and feel good about it again.
It's happened to me before too. Actually, it's probably happening to me now. Enjoy the free time you gain from your break from the forums. When you finally start itching to come back, they'll most likely still be here.

I think maybe we all need to hold hands and sing this song together about netiquette http://videogum.com/archives/webjunk/kids-sing-a-made-up-song-about_060812.html

Well I do hope Ghosty still chats in the group IM's. I enjoy it. Can't imagine his being really rude to anyone. I never noticed it.
But yeah - being caught up in this instead of doing art? Opt for the art. It lasts longer and ultimately may have more impact.

You can count on him being involved in group chat Weston I'm sure he'd agree about your feelings about the art. It means a lot to him, and I think the more positive feedback he has, the more he believes it is a worthwhile thing to persue. He's currently in the process of considering bringing some of it "out-world" to test how it looks when blown up and framed so he can assess quality of the prints. He may need to re-work/tweak things or start creating new work from scratch if the images don't hold up well enough when enlarged. He just never considered that it was good enough that people would actually want it in their homes, but has gotten such good feedback, that he's had to seriously think about it now.
