Words above my name over my head

I am new to SL. Not long after joining the words "Having sachi's baby" started appearing over my name above my head. I have also seen other statements or descriptions above other SL avatar's names.

How did that get there? How do I get rid of it?

I am not pregnant in SL and haven't been doing anything that would make me pregnant in SL!

It's a group tag. Check which groups you belong to that may have that as their slogan.

if it appears in the same little box area as your name, it is a group title

right click on your name, choose groups then select none, then activate, that will remove any group titles (or tags)

if it is not a group, then you are wearing what is commonly called a flip titler, which is an invisible ball, with a floating text script in it.

to remove that, check your inventory, type in worn, it will show you everything worn, find the one that is labeled titler or something of the sort, right click it and take off (or detach)

It was a group. I clicked on something at the Adam n Eve store-I didn't even know about groups-to be notified when they had new items or announcements.

So you are a virgin in SL? I saw on another thread that your SL and RL are the same. Same in that way?

Yes, in SL I have no interest in the “mature” areas (I hate the way certain types of sex related stuff is called “adult” or “mature”), so I remain chaste and will remain that way.

In RL I would never answer such a crude and “none-of-your-damn-business” question. However, I am married with kids.

Ok I'm confused here.. Isn't Adam and Eve where you got the Tag a mature place?

It is tagged "mature" and may have some mature content. It is not that every where I go is PG, but I have no interest in places that are primarily sex related.

I just thought Adam and Eve was like the lil magazine that sells all the sex related stuff and thought the name to be self explainitory and would indicate such items of a mature theme. And curious how you ended up in such a place if not by searching. <Shurgs>

I have ended up places that were all sex but I do not go to those places... the search was very misleading (people use so damn many false keywords one never knows where they will go)

I asked because her defense to another posed question was that she doesn't go to areas that are sex related.. To me I see Adam and Eve I relate that to sexual content. And if you really think about it.. I asked her.... So wouldn't that make my question none of your business if you get technical? Forums are public so if you make a statement, Pose a question etc. you are making things their business.. Correct?
