From: Dekka Raymaker maybe Puppet would pose? Not if it's for the people who live next door to Marianne! Puppet's kinda shy. However, it could be fun to get a few dog and cat avatars (maybe even a hamster) together to do a photo shoot for charity. It would be easier to get them to sit where you want them to sit than it would be to try to corral a group of wandering pets. How the HELL did Goreans end up in a thread about pets?

From: Dekka Raymaker As a newly practicing Gorean I'll have to correct that: "Tal love, just off out to my Gorean practice at the village hall. Will be back later to untie you" it's clear I was too busy larking about at the back of the class instead of paying attention to the Tie Her Up Real Good module and the basics of Applied Misogeny in Fantasy Roleplay. Or something.

From: Elora Lunasea As a little girl, when we played house? I always picked being the dog! I mean, you got to be petted all the time, didn't have to contribute any stupid mommy/daddy conversation, people fed you nice treats (O'Henry candy bars made fine substitute bones) and you could go curl up in a corner, close your eyes and dream away while the other kids argued about who was going to take care of the baby tonight.
*sigh* Life was good as a dog. Yes, life is good in SL as a dog too. People want to pet me and tell me how cute I am, and I don't have to spend all kinds of money on clothes and skins. I am rather fond of hats, though. Only problem is, I keep coming to the forums and getting caught in the "stupid mommy/daddy conversation" and the kids' arguments.

AL: Son, have I told you not to marry? BUD: Yeah, Dad. AL: Good. Have I told you not to be a shoe salesman? BUD: Yeah, Dad. AL: Well, I just I've told you everything I know then. Son, what do you want to be when you grow up? BUD: Well... AL: (cutting him off) See, I wanted to be a football player. (POINTS TO BUCK) Now I just wanna be like him. Sure, you have to eat a bowl full of the private parts of horses, but... then you go to the bathroom on the lawn and someone says you did good! That's all I wanted. To lie in the sun, run in the grass, see a good looking bitch through a chain link fence... Ah, what's the use, it'll never happen. (SINGS) Dog is an animal with big floppy ears. (BREAKS DOWN) Oh God. (HE HANGS HIS HEAD. KELLY COMES OVER) KELLY: What's with Dad? BUD: He's having the dog dream again. KELLY: (patting Al's head) Good boy. (AL SITS UP AND LETS HIS TONGUE HANG OUT)

From: FD Spark I have uni-pig I made but it has no scripts its cute little pink pig with a horn. You may not want it though because its is bit strange of pet not realistic. LOL Does it oink?? I WANT ONE! You may want to look at Zooby's, she's got the best animals, hands down. Or, for horses, I'd try La Bicyclette, hers are the most realistic looking so far. IM the creators and see if they'd allow you to do a photo shoot with their animals, it's wourth checking at the source

Care to explain to us what on earth a SL animal charity is? And why your friend can't ask herself?
BTW - I make unique animated pets for L$100 each, and can make custom ones for the same price (as long as it is something I would be able to sell afterwards) - so ifyou have a little three legged black kitten with long ears and a a long tongue and want him in SL - well, can do, hehe

From: Raymond Figtree I got my case of crabs for L$300. That's what you get for $300. Don't worry, you can treat it with over the counter meds. Couldn't resist, Ray.

As a lark some will dance with the kitty, and while I prefer being a kitty, sometimes you just have to be human. And not spending all kinds of money? Hehe - I need to stop buying avatars, they are breaking the bank Dogs can wear hats.

I've always longed for an Exmoor pony. Pretty please? I promise I'll take the very best care of him - he'll have a good home and never go anywhere near Mari's neighbours.

From: Isabeau Imako Are you the Hedgehog I saw dancing in Farhaven a few nights ago? Don't think so, though I have been known to sometimes get down and boogie.. Since it's sorta related to this topic, maybe I can mention that proceeds from Daryth Kennedy hedgie sales go to help a RL wildlife hospital. More details in the Cathedral sim or at http://daryth.com/draconica/index.php/Purchasing_a_Hedgehog_Avatar .

Hehe - I need to stop buying avatars, they are breaking the bank Dogs can wear hats. I do wear hats - they often require adjustment, but I'm determined to make them work. And I must admit, I have a couple of human alts - they're pretty low maintenance though. If they get too demanding, I'll have to put them in their place. But then again, I started life as a humble alt.
