Can someone help me get my pants on? :)

I have never had this happen before (for a long period of time anyway). When I was in world a couple days ago my jeans lost their texture and appeared white (like when you used to be in that white bodysuit that was stamped missing image). I figured when I logged in the next time my pants would return. Today I logged in and I still have no texture, still the same white missing image type pants.

I rebaked textures and cleared my cache. Have I missed anything or is this a new bug?

Trying going to a quiet non-busy sim -- maybe a water sim and then try rebaking again.

I know this isn't what you're asking, but you might ask someone else inworld how your pants look to them. You might be the only one who sees them that way.

Once I was wearing an elborate Victorian gown. According to my inventory I was fully dressed, wearing all the pieces, but as far I could see my breasts were bare. A friend assured me that I was covered, but for the entire session I looked (to myself) like a Victorian fertility goddess.

I had the opposite happen. I TP'd to the Hangout one day and Chris promptly sent me an IM asking me if I realized that I was topless. On my viewer, my sweater was on - he sent me a pic to prove what he was seeing. Luckily there was only him and one other person there at the time.

Is this the palletized textures bug? If so, try something like Advanced, Rendering, Features, turn off palletized textures, rebake.

The one linked to further up the thread is an individual post made by Love. I linked to the entire thread. Love's post was rather a humorous one. I was just linking to the entire thread that had a solution in it. Maybe it was the wrong solution. *shrug* Just trying to help.

Thank you to everyone for their help AND the laughs! I just read that link and OMG I DID just update my drivers AND I got a new video card. I will try to do the Palletized Textures thing.

Is this an intermittent problem, that is, if you have the wrong driver, sometimes things work properly for a while, then they screw up and you have to do the "turn off palletized textures and rebake" step, or is a constant problem, like you have to do this every time you start the program, but then things work properly until you log out, or what?

I'm really good at helping someone get their pants off but not so good at helping them put them on. lol
