Avatar texture corruption

Was wondering if anybody was having similar problems or whether it's a new bug

Put on an item of clothing, say a white shirt, and hands are coloured the same white
Put on a pair of socks and the whole of the lower body becomes that colour.

This is happening with outfits that were previously fine.

Trued clearing cache, rebaking and relogging but nothing seems to help.

Any ideas???

You just updated your nvidia drivers didn't you?

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. It is a know issue. Basically nvidia stopped supporting palletized textures.

The Release Candidate fixes the problem.

If you don't want to brave the RC:

For older viewers, you can go into the Advanced menu and turn off palletized textures:

Advanced -> Rendering -> Features -> Palletized Textures
(or ctl-alt-F7)

Then rebake (ctl-alt-R), and you should be fine.

You have to set that every time you log in though.
