From: Sling Trebuchet The real question is - Does anyone in LL other than Lexie realise that one tool does not do all jobs? General discussion posts in the commerce forums have been being moved to SL Answers and now we have a Linden admitting that SL Answers isn't the place for a discussion. At bloody last! Now if they'd just update VBulletin here we could all move happily along with a choice of formats, safe in the knowledge that real discussion still has a home.

From: spinster Voom LOL!
I've just been over there again and what I noticed is that these forums are much more visible from the main site than SLA is. It's really hard to find that section of the website. I lost the page and had to start from the home page again and ended up going all round the houses to get back to SLA. Meanwhile, there's a great big box with a link in the bottom right of the community page, directing people here, as well as a link here from the drop-down menu, visible on every page. Perhaps there's hope for us after all. If they really are going to close these forums, it's strange that they gave us such high visibility in the new web layout. I don't think the new web layout was made with any forethought to functionality. Even though the new web layout came out at roughly the same time as the Adult Policy transition, I notice that the Events section has not been modified at all to reflect the new Adult Policy. Most noticeably, the only Event ratings available are PG and Mature, so to get your adult event on adult land listed, you have to post it as PG. (At least there is a partial fix to that, so that even though you have to list it on the website as PG, it lists as Adult in-world). The Events rules discuss only PG and Mature events, nothing about Adult. The website changes were purely someone's idea of "razzle dazzle," with no consideration to function. I'm guessing that the Community Forums have high visibility not because Linden Lab wants to keep them around, but no one thought to actually have the new website reflect some of the new direction.

From: Brenda Connolly And if they do, is it considered cheating, if they don't get their stipend and get ripped of by a vendor who is a male playing a female vampire avatar who hates Gor...... I think we should have a poll about that one.

From: Smith Peel That sounds complicated. Yeah, too complicated for me thx.. Whatever happened to people just simply wanting to do it?
