I think the Devolin Resort is very romantic with a mountain observation deck and slow dancing, balloon rides and hiking trails. Since you happen to be talking about two guys, my blog/mag for gay men in SL "The Second Story" has a column called Love and Lust that lists spots in gay or gay-friendly sims for romantic dates (as well as spots for gay hook-ups) www.folsomcarter.blogspot.com. At the tags pull-down menu, select "Love & Lust". I know that plugging things like this is looked down upon, but I think it's relevant to the question. If you do take a look, keep in mind that some previously listed spots may have disappeared after the Open Space changes.

Feel free to hop over to Tin Teddy island - I have a big Louis XV rococo ballroom in the middle of it. Classical music, romantic atmosphere....
