I may suggest my sim, look up Venusian sim, on the mainland, it is host of my sim sized amusement park "Carnivale Amusements". It's a really beautiful sim, and had tonnes of things to do that I think are fun. It's PG, so you are not going to see anything too shocking.
Just realized that you said 2 guys, really I am a gay man, I don't consider this to be a gay business, but I would never tolerate intolerance, which is the point here. I host an annual 'gayday' at my sim too, whats the point in owning an amusement park if you can't throw the odd party. But that is usually for the SL Pride Week in July. There are a tonne of gay friendly places, but they are not all that date friendly, they are pretty much pick up spots. Which isn't that fun for a 1st date. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Venusian/115/89/38 |

The "Inspire Space Park" is nice (Shinda 31, 219, 217). Not much to do there really except enjoy the sights, however I do recommend the "Orbital Cuddle"
Be sure to set your world to midnight and turn on the music stream. Not sure if it's "Gay", but it is very gay-friendly._____________________

Two guys?
I sound like a broken record here...but try the SS Galaxy. Ice skating, skeet shooting, rock climbing wall, bumper boats in the water surrounding her...and a nice little minigolf course. Dive World is a great place for scuba Weather Channel Sim for extreme sports Any of this sound like your cup of tea? _____________________

Oh..and romance..
Here's an idea...go for a horse ride in the Costa Rica sim. Aside from the riding, there is a very nice secluded spot above a waterfall. The views there are amazing, and there is a cuddle blanket already rezzed and waiting. _____________________

really? When I went there, we had a grand time, with very little lag.
But there weren't any events in the ballroom. So it was also mostly empty. _____________________

Not necessarily romantoic maybe, but a fun place to bring someone, if that is your interest. _____________________

oooh! Have a LM to drop on me Brenda? *bounce bounce* You will have to search for it, sorry. I deleted all my landmarks in my last inventory cleanup. It's adjacent to the NASA and JPL Sims _____________________

Teleport to OWK Village Island and goto Subdue Erotic Restaurant. get a sushi suit from the vendor there, lay on the table and let your date eat off you. Nice erotic music playing with water running and plush views.

ooooooooooo loves sushi...........hopes gf is hungry later............my vote for romantic venue's is of course cloud 9 or sinatra's, there was also a little place in the mist and clouds really high with dance platforms rezzed on arms out from a central dias. Was beautiful at night with little baskets held by balloons circling overhead sprinkling snowflakes on you. If OP needs LM then IM me later, though I may be busy eating.......

It's so refreshing to read threads like this, I'm proud of SL's community. Maybe it's because SL is (suppose to be) adult only so you don't have a lot of teenagers on the forums. I just recall my World of Warcraft days and tried to imagine what this forum thread would look like posted there. I don't think I need to tell you.
Anyway... on topic... maybe you could go exploring together? There are a number of threads on the forums that have huge lists of "must see" places. When I first started dating my g/f we did that... mostly poking around old castles and stuff. Was a lot of fun discovering secret passages together. Plus, you tend to pretty much be alone with them the whole time so you don't have to worry about lag or crowds. Hmmm, I forget the name of the place... if I were at home I could login and check my landmarks... but try doing some searches on "rain forest". I recall visiting a place after searching for that, and although we ended up leaving the place we started at, we wandered around this really amazing network of sims with giant flowers, tree houses, and foresty stuff. I wish I could remember the name, it was back when I was fairly new at SL so I had this noobified gaze of wonder. I miss that feeling. Anyway, good luck! |
