From: Ant Bolero oh wow, where can i find those ! Ant, I think its time you stop sounding like a "griefer in the making" or you will find yourself banned from this Secondlife. All of these 'cool" things that you are talking about are mostly used for griefing people, terrorizing them. You can fly, you can teleport, you can morph yourself into another shape, and you can build almost anything that your mind can imagine. And yes, you can buy some tools that will do all of those other things, but if you get caught using them against people that are not playing with you, then you can be easily found out and reported.

If you like to play with swords and bows, search up "Gor" or "Gorean" and see if you find an arena and some hunky guys fighting. Talk to them and see if they will give some fight training. Obs, read a bit about Gor at the entrance and put on a "Visitors tag" first. If you like it, you can submit to be a Warrior.
It gives interesting possibilities, and also pretty girls in silks sitting and admiering you when you fight (LOL) I suppose it can make some guys feel like a superhero. Other girls are called Panthers and they can attack you and kidnap you and then do all sort of nasty stuff.

Do you want the power to be in two places at once? of course you do... Pin the Second life exe or a shortcut of it to your start menu items. You may have to find it in All Programs; right click it and select Pin To Start Menu. (Second Life is very important, lol) Then you right click it and select properties. Hey look a new window... Notice where the green arrow is pointing to. Change -set SystemLanguage en-us to -multiple It should look like this... After you change it to multiple, you must click Apply and Ok. Now you should be able to open multiple instances of Second Life. You can log in two, three, maybe even four avatars at once depending on what your computer can handle and effectively be in numerous places at once on the grid.

From: Sally Silvera ...Check the SL exchange........ the weapons section counts over 2000 items. Yes, well. Be advised that many of those won't work after Havoc 4 hits the main grid. And the rest require that whomever is the target be complicit in being targeted, or can only be used on a few patches of the grid where "push" is enabled--where being present is itself being complicit. There are plenty of super powers, but not weapons. They're for either role-players or the gullible.

It depends on your definition of "super powers". If you mean more than a real human could do, yes. If you mean more than any other avatar on the grid can do, no. You really, really, really can't be "the one" in Second Life.

My av has gone 6 months without going to the bathroom and he hasn't exploded. I think that's pretty amazing.

From: Yumi Murakami You really, really, really can't be "the one" in Second Life. Oh come now, Yumi! Every time you write a script, for a brief instant there, you're the only one who can do *that* thing. (Okay, well, maybe not so exciting when the scripts are basically doing accounting, but.... Crap. Clark Kent, again. Wtf will I do with all this spandex?)

From: Ant Bolero Hey, I was wondering what kind of superpowers you could have in SL ...
I don't know, did you take the red or blue pill from the 'Welcome to SL' kit you got when you joined? .d

From: Ant Bolero I heard also u could move objects with your "mind" ... but I can only move "my" objects!
Sorry to ressurect a dead thread, but this one bugged me. I knew there was a way to move other people's objects, but couldn't remember till I stopped by the old Linden Village. If an object is "physical" - has the physical box clicked in the edit tab - then you can hold your mouse over it until a hand appears. With that hand, you can nudge it. But, if you hold the "Ctrl" key while the hand is active, you can lift and move physical objects. Again, sorry it took me so long to find this.

I can instantly grow a full head of hair, crash a biplane at full speed into just about anything and walk away with out a scratch and telepathically convince otherwise sensible, intelligent and beautiful women to send me scantily clad pictures of themselves so I can call them names.
I'm super Hairocrashydegenerate Man.

I wouldn't also mind superpowers to make my textures addictive yet unable to use without buying them directly from me. The textures would have special powers and be unable to be stolen Everyone would call me Super Copy Protection Man who produces Textured Crack.
