SuperPowers In SecondLife!

I was wondering what kind of superpowers you could have in SL ...

I heard you can do stuff like move things with your brain ....
be in 2 places at the same time...


etc..


one time this guy had these really cool powers where he was able to like ... orbit me .. etc


how could I learn how to do these stuff ?? thanks!

You can FLY! And almost instantaneously (assuming the grid isn't being borkish) transport yourself from one end of the world to the other! Create objects out of thin air! Carry massive amounts of inventory without breaking a sweat! Lift large objects just by pointing at them! And you never, ever have to sleep, eat, or pee. O.o

I will only tell you this, impatient one...to move things with your mind, select the object>Right click on edit>select the little hand icon>impress your friends and coworkers.

Actually, I have no idea what you're asking about. Instructions on how to become a griefer? Something more benign? It's unclear to me.

what is a Griefer ? or . a benign ? ....

A griefer is anyone who deliberately makes other people's SL unpleasant...for example, by running around orbiting them when they don't want to play.

Benign in this case means something non-harmful and perhaps even beneficial. If you want a more precise definition, you can look it up in any English dictionary.

The powers to actually come in for let's say an hour and not crash?

These would be 'miracle' powers if this was accomplished even for a time length as small as an hr.

If you need assistance with figuring out how to do something specific, it helps to explain what it is you want to do exactly.
Oh and if you need help learning about orbitting, I'm sure there are people around who would happily demonstrate

he was able to lock me in cages.... make me fly ... push me away ... stuff like that ...

I heard also u could move objects with your "mind" ... but I can only move "my" objects!

also, I heard about something where you could be in 2 places at one time or something ..

freezing... orbiting ... terms like that.... and I would like to get tips on how to attack someone ( not for the sake of attacking, maybe to play or just for self-defense) ....

because even though I did put a shield... some guns are too powerful and I would like to know how can I just well.. shoot back

I don't think you can die on SL, but how can you chopp someone or mangle.. crush...etc?

Never heard of either being possible in general terms. If someone gives you modify rights on their objects, then you can move those around, and it is possible to be logged in as more than one avatar at a time.



This is fine in play, if all parties agree, but 'defending' yourself is likely to get you in as much trouble as the person who started it does. It's better to ignore them and tp away, or LL might suspend YOU. Simply sitting down also defeats a lot of push weapons.

As for which ones do what.... I have no idea, because I don't own any, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly

Search for a place called kitty's creations. Take your Friend there. You can do all sorts of horrible things to them there. Enjoy.

Able to levitate fly leap single buildings apparently unaided and fly to level of approximately two hundred metres powered only by second life beans...

Able to sink to the depths of the ocean, breathe underwater and resist massive pressure..

Able to communicate telepathically...

Double, treble and quadruple jointed...

Extended range of vision...

Able to assume any shape or form...

Able to withstand violent impact and falls from unimaginable heights.

Able to move objects telekinetically with the flick of a wrist.

Able to mime the use of a typewriter expertly.

But still unable to boogie without looking like a complete twit on the dance floor

Able to walk with a high-heeled boot up one's bum like nothing's wrong

Able to achieve implausibly large boobies by sliding a little slider thing

Able to dance without having your toes crushed by some bloke's size 10's.

Second Life is not a place where you can "feel powerful".

You can buy weapons that can attack people, to orbit them or mess with their avatars, but doing that without the other person's consent is against the rules and will usually get you banned from SL, or at least banned from the land parcels where you're doing it.

I know that when you are new, it's easy to feel that the other person is "powerful" because they orbited or caged you. I felt that way too. But once you are used to SL, you learn that these are basically just simple canned tricks that basically anyone can do for a few L$, and that the other person's not powerful, they're just an ass.

It is quite deliberate that there is no way to get power over other people, or "superpowers" that others do not have, within Second Life. If you are looking for a world where you can do this, you'll have to choose another one I'm afraid.
