A couple of good memories stick in my mind.
One of the earliest - teleporting to the NCI South area which was deserted that time of night - except for the full sized Balrog avatar out of Lord of the Rings that was standing behind me. At least that's what it looked like - it might have been a demon or something. Wheew! That thing was so scary I frantically blind TP'd to a random spot on the map. I've never seen it since, but whoever you are/were, thank you. You kept me coming back to SL for more surprises.
I also have very fond memories of the first time I was talked into dancing - a newbie dancing event also was at an NCI area. I don't dance in RL -- it feels, I don't know, AWFUL. But doing it in SL with a bunch of other plastic geeks I grinned so foolishly my face hurt. So this is how it's supposed to feel.
I think SL still has a lot of surprises in store. It's up to us, the residents, to provide them.

"The Default Avatars were created by Linden Lab They evolved. They rebelled. There are many copies. And they have a plan."
LMAO over that one... love it..... *sigh* I miss Battlestar dam it.
Anywho...yeah....the noob days.... I remember the relief of finding a new skin that was actually decent... pale and tattood...but still quite well done. Sharn skin I think it is.... every girl in SL must own one. LOL The best was when I was still fresh out of the cereal box new in LaLa Orientation Land and a woman gave me 2000L to go shopping~!!! I could have kissed her feet....that was the coolest thing and I've always tried to pay it forward. It didn't take me long to get an account tho....I had zero patience for camping or a 'job'. All I wanted to do was explore... and that's still pretty much all I do. But yeah..... there's nothing more I need to shop for... and the initial awe has dissipated and R rated stuff is just *yawn* *shrug* I still think SL is one of the coolest things I've ever seen .... but, now what? LOL

This forum isn't for general discussion; there are many Resident Sites where this discussion is appropriate — Resident Answers is for Resident-to-Resident help. I'll close this thread...
