If you start a sentence off with /me that is correct usage . . .

Pep ( . . . and, anyway, the sense is obvious from the context.)

PS Thank goodness it wasn't 3Ring or she'd spend the next three pages arguing blind that her interpretation was correct, not a consequence of failing to read the post accurately.

I'd assume that inworld, or, an SL related forum is probably the only place you's start off a sentence with '/me'. I've come close to doing it in non SL related emails occasionally and always laugh at myself, wondering what the recipient would think of '/me'.

ETA: LMAO @ 'you's'. I think I'll leave it in. :D

It works in these forums as well, but only in upper case, so I don't bother with it, eg:

(without the quotation marks) turns into

I can't say too much... there is a certain satyr like person of a female persuasion that I have great affection for....

ps anyone know a good term for a female satyr? I know they are traditionally male, and they don't fit the model of dryads or even oreads really...

ok, assuming a satyr is half goat half human, which half applies to sex? and do mythologicals count as furries anyways? I'm not sure bestiality applies either, when all involved are sentient, but I don't have a good term for interspecies sex except maybe "rishathra" (ty niven)
