I'll be honest...I liked bling when I first started. Must be a newbie thing. But...no longer. I do have some "sparkle" pieces that I really like, but everything else with bling, I usually try the "bling off" command. But some don't respond. I'll have to get one of the scrubber scripts, too for the things that won't stop blinging. The biggest thing to turn me off to it? I was in a store one day and this girl avie walked by with the blingiest boots I ever saw! Froze me solid in that place...I couldn't move until she left. That's when I realized my bling had to go! Can't bring myself to give up my pretty flowing prim hair, though.

Can't you just IM the creator and ask for a non-bling version? If it's non-transfer I don't see it being a problem. Unless they are members of the National Bling Association, then don't bother.

Is that what that NBA Sim is all about?

Sparkles I can tolerate, but when I put on a ring and little bracelet and airliners start following me around with their gear down, somethings gotta give

Awwww ... I said something along that line to my very first psycho hosebeast stalker ... a whole week old and being hounded by someone whom ait traffic control probably took a hit out on.

He was probably from Jersey to boot. *My Jersey, not yours*

Ummm no, I believe he was from the same side of your country, but further down where the oranges come from.

Mainly, he made the classic mistake of thinking I was a dumb pretty dolly who'd look good on his arm and was put out to find out I wasn't impressed by his "worldly ways" (by which I mean sulking like a child if disagreed with and then being a pain after being set straight).

If it's not too much trouble, could you drop one on me as well please?

(Also have a piece of jewelry I like that is "supposed" to be "deblingable" and isn't.)

Thank you sooo much in advance. :)

Yer welcome! Hope it helps!

Ah, well most of the people down there came from up here anyway.

Is there a Bling Killer out there? I hate the damn bling effect. Most of my jewelry has the options, but several pieces I have don't seem to. I've tried to various chat commands BOff or BlingOff, on what seem to be the common channels, 1, 11, 55,99, but some just won't stop blinging. Penguin.

rip the script out of the thing and hopefully if you make a copy (if its copiable) it wont stick. Then put this copied shoe with no scripts in it back into your inventory. Then take it out and stick in the freebie you can get at the particle lab and hit reset on that script if it doesn't take effect immediately. If its still blinging pull the thing back into your inventory with the new script to make it stop blinging inside it. Hopefully when you pull it out again it will have stopped...

Obviously to do this you have to be able to modify the shoe and copy it.

bling sucks I hate it and only put it in if someone really wants it. I have made a couple of objects with it in it because it made sense even then i have made the weakest bling on the planet to the point where people say they can't see it.

There's a copy of the scrubber script free for the taking out the front of my store, on the "Nimbus's Really Useful Freebies" shelf. Help yourself, anyone who wants a copy.
